City will be looking to get three home wins in a row against Ipswich on Tuesday. The Bluebirds who currently sit 12th in the league table have the chance to move within one point of the play off places with a win against the Tractor Boys. Ipswich however, are currently eight matches unbeaten, a win could see them move up to as high as second in the table. The last time the sides met, Ipswich crossed the bridge with another point to their name, drawing 0-0 in the Cardiff City stadium.
The Bluebirds have a number of injuries to cope with for this game, Ravel Morrison is out with a knee problem while Declan John will be assessed before the game with a tight hamstring. They will also be without Tom Adeyemi who also has a hamstring problem, while Macheda has an outside chance of making the game. Ben Turner and Matt Connolly will not be available.
Ipswich will be without midfielder Luke Hyam through a hip problem and will need to assess the problems affecting Tyrone Mings and Parr. Apart from that, Ipswich will have a full strength squad to choose from including top scorer Murphy, currently on six goals in twelve games.
After a great performance against an inform Forest team, I can't see the team changing very much, my predicted Cardiff line up is-
01- Marshall
02- Brayford
03- Fabio
05- Manga
36- Morrison
07- Whittingham
11- Noone
19- Pilkington
21- Ralls
09- Jones
10- Le Fondre
And my predicted Ipswich line up is-
01- Gerken
02- Parr
04- Chambers
05- Smith
30- Wyatt
07- Stewart
08- Skuse
12- Hunt
15- Williams
09- Murphy
10- McGoldrick
After a great performance against Forest, I feel that if we perform to the same level, they should be able to overcome Ipswich. I'm going to predict a 2-1 win for the Bluebirds.
