Boleyn Ground- West Ham United FC Ground Guide
How Easy Was The Ground to Get To (from the station, by car, etc)
Only been by train. Upton Park Station just around the corner from the ground, but the queues after are obscene. I usually walk past it and head to the next station down, Plaistow. Its a good 15 minute walk, but still better than waiting in that queue.
If Applicable, How is Parking Near The Ground?
N/A
Based on Where You Were Sat, How Was the View?
The away end is very shallow and cramped. Ive been a few times and can actually barely see the goal at our end of the ground!
How Were The Stewards on The Day?
They're usually fine with us, never had a problem standing up there.
If You Ate at The Ground, How Would You Rate the Food?
Never ate in the ground
How Was The Atmosphere At The Ground, From Both Sets of Supporters? Does the Stadium Hold the Noise?
It's fairly poor, but the fans in the East Stand to our left seem to spend the whole game goading us whatever the score! The away end is absolutely brilliant for making an atmosphere, probably because its so cramped, it forces everyone to stand up and get into it!
How Are the Pubs and Local Attractions in The Local Area?
Like all London clubs, plenty around the ground. The Central is one of my favourite away pubs, and there is a very nice spicy chicken place directly opposite Upton Park Station.
Overall Score Out of 10?
The ground itself is a dump. The away end is awful...but I cant help it, its always one of the best away days of the season! Im gutted this season is the last time.
