To see those lads faces behind the reporter when the news broke was very sad to see, think every genuine football fan in the world could empathise with how shitty this must feel. Disgusting how they've been run into the ground like this.

All the best to them on getting started up again, hopefully they can be fan owned and stop any more of these charlatans ruining their club.

Horrible to see us losing one of the football league family.

So sad for generations of Bury fans who for watching or listening to their team on a Saturday afternoon is a way of life. Those fans must feel like they are in mourning today, and I cannot imagine the thought of no more Saturdays following their team in the football league.

I am sure they will re-emerge in non league, but for now, that's very little consolation for them

I remember When Bradford City came within minutes of suffering the same fate about 16 years ago, it was a horrible day waiting for what we thought was the inevitable. Fortunately, to our extreme relief, we were saved. Tough days and seasons followed, but it was better than the unthinkable.

We should be able to elect a tinpot club to sacrifice in their place. An MK Dons, Wigan or Bristol City for example.

Remember them winning promotion at our place in 1997.

The joy and delight back them replaced by the sadness and despair now,

Only hope Bury can re-build and come back stronger.

Its only 11 years or so since we were minutes away from the same fate.

I thank my lucky stars every day we were privileged to get an owner that cares about the town and the club.

Tony Stewart runs the club's affairs intelligently and will not overspend.
It has cost us 2 relegations from the championship and a fair few of our fans constantly berate him for not chucking more money at it.
But it's the right way to run a football club.

I can only sympathise with the Bury fans and hope they can find a way back some day soon.
