2nd tricky away game in a couple of days. Since we were soundly beaten in the play off semi, we are arguably much weaker, and Boro are arguably much stronger.

Think we might be able to nick a point with some luck, but don't think we are sound enough defensively to get anything, 2-0 defeat.

The defence were a lot better against on Saturday by all accounts and Leeds only scored because we gave the ball away in a silly area. Sounded like a promising performance after the Reading match. I think we will probably lose though, Boro seem to just know how to beat us having done so four times last season.

Going to be tough. We looked a great deal better on Saturday than a fortnight previous, but this game may well come too soon for several of our players adjusting to life in the Championship.

Middlesbrough were the one team we couldn't get the hang of last season and beat us on all four occasions. The two at Griffin Park were lucky, but having made two trips to the Riverside last season I definitely won't be going back again

We have had an unfortunate start to the season, rather than a bad one. Long term injuries to key players (I think the first two games of the season we had 7 first teamers missing) have held us back and we've badly missed Jota and the experience of Bjelland. That said, defensively we looked solid for the first time this season on Saturday and the newly acquired foreign players are adapting well.

I think most Bees fans who have a patient approach can see what's going on, and although it'll likely take time, we'll have a decent season followed by potentially a very good season next year. The impatient fans still can't seem to understand that we had our hands tied over losing key players this summer, as well as simply refusing to comprehend the reasons why Warburton left and instead are singling out Benham to blame We got a shit load of money for Gray, Odubajo had a release clause, Pritchard wasn't our player and Dallas tripled his wages by moving to Leeds. In response, we've bought two Danish internationals, an Austrian international, Germany's recently first choice u21 striker, a German youth international and a whole host of talented players with significant room to further develop as players - and turned a ~£5m profit in the process. Throw in to the mix a formidable new coaching setup, and you've got to try really hard not to see the progress that's going on at the club.

It's been an inauspicious start to the season, but I'm very optimistic about our medium to long term chances in English football.

This is absolutely spot on. Though the profit is more like £8m once all the add ons are thrown in

Think we may struggle at times this season, but once everyone is back and settled into this league, I can see us being a much better team to last year's.
