I can feel the pain.

We were also bottom of the league 3 weeks ago.

Since then we've won 4 on the trot and now look a good side with more to come. As Jimmy Greaves used to say "football can be a funny old game".

Slightly different situations!

With a Director leaving this week and a big meeting tomorrow morning at the club something big is in the offing.
Something drastic has to be done and sharpish

Can you please not do anything 'big and drastic' until after the weekend?

Cheers.

You'll turn it around sooner or later.
Clubs generally find their true level so if you can sort out all the political/boardroom stuff you should start moving upwards again.
Might have to return to Division 4 first though.

I'm officially nicking this thread off ya.

We don't actually look THAT bad in most areas of the pitch, (far from world beaters but not relegation) but as soon as we get anywhere near the 18 yard box it's like we transform into a bunch of grannies. Scared to shoot, offloading to the nearest man rather than taking any responsibility. We are the lowest scorers in the entire football league and for good reason.

We should draw a lot of games this season if this continues but draws don't keep you up. We don't have 1 striker who has scored yet if I'm correct.

The thing is I'm not even going to blame the manager he was left with an impossible job in summer and thanks to Corney and co we will pay for it this year

You'll definitely score against us next weekend, our defence is as loose as an Essex girl.

Our game next week is postponed so we can have this thread back if you get a point off Gills

Comfortably our worst performance of the season thus far was against you. You scored with an own goal and fluffed numerous chances to score again. We were totally toothless that day but you seemed to shut us out very easily.
Such a shame we didn't have Vaughan that day and didn't play 4-4-2, result may have been different.
