It'll be weird seeing Wilshere line up against us, assuming he returns from that ankle knock. Sanchez is linked with moves away, maybe with a bit of luck he might start on the bench again as he did during the week. Presumably Walcott will sit out what with talks to another club going on. Giroud is apparently injured and he normally causes us big problems. They have various other injuries going on further back too.
So we have to give it a go. We have several injuries ourselves of course, but there's a chance some of them may return for this like King or Stanislas. Last season we managed to get someone sent off and draw 3-3 after leading 3-0 with 20 minutes left to play, and that hurt. That night Ryan Fraser made an absolute mug of Hector Bellerin and brought about most of our attacks, might be worth matching those two up again and seeing if Fraser can repeat it.
Given how the table looks right now, anything we could get from this would be massive.
I can see a Bournemouth win here. Arsenals defense isn't the best against Pace at least when attacking the centrebacks. It'll be interesting to see if Sanchez or Ozil starts.
Interesting. I believe this is the first time all season we've picked the formation that on paper at least, gets the most from our better players. 5-2-3 wingbacks. I've wanted to see this for months.
So we'll wait and see it proved for the umpteenth time that i know fuck all about football when it turns out crap.
Famous win, first ever over Arsenal. Coming from behind to win as well. Although it has to be said they're one of the weaker Arsenal sides we could face.
Everyone in a Bournemouth shirt ran their socks off pressing and hassling, the one only time Arsenal got through our press was for their goal. Otherwise we did a bloody hard and good job getting a foot on everything. Even so they had the lead and were favourites to score on the counter. But they shit the bed on 70 minutes and lost shape at the back inexplicably.
That man Fraser at the centre of most things for us, together with Wilson who gave Chambers and Holding a hard time all game.
Jordon Ibe deserves a goal for his form lately, and what a goal to get. Thought he'd missed it initially, who cares how they go in hey.
Just watching the game on MOTD. Arsenal lost AND were lucky not to have a penalty given against them for the hand ball. Bournemouth well deserving of the 3 points.
