We'll give it a go, City are capable of a slip up now and again. A defeat is mostly likely, but hopefully we'll at least make it more competitive than Spurs away. We've had about 10 players away on international duty, probably a few less than City or most bigger clubs. The other half of our squad has been in Dubai on a training camp, Howe wanting to push them on for a sprint to the finish line.

It's match between 13th and 4th teams of the League and bookies can’t define a favorite. It’s interesting, isn’t it? Let’s find out what team has stats advantage on corners in Premier League. First round match between these rivals ended quite unexpectedly – Bournemouth won away game on corners with score 7:1 and it’s the biggest defeat on corners for Citizens in this season. Teams have the same indicators in last games – 5 wins in 6 games. Bournemouth hasn’t lost on corners on home field 5 matches in a row. Corners stats of Manchester City at away aren’t impressive: there are 3 defeats on corners in last 4 games. However, I would not make hasty conclusions based on these data. Started from February, Citizens made defeated such strong teams as Manchester United, Tottenham and Leicester. If to consider how many teams want to be on 4th place of the League, it’s expected that Manchester City will play intensive attacking football and is likely to win on corners in this match. As outcome on corners of this game is quite difficult to predict, I suggest trying such type of bet as half with most corners. Average total corners of home matches of Bournemouth in first half is 4.93, Manchester City at away has 4.29 total corners on average in first half. As for second half, total corners of the teams are much higher – 6.21 corners per half.

In this way, you can try to bet on half with most corners– 1st half < 2nd with 1.8 odds or 2nd half odds.

Really feel we could nick something today. We're still the underdogs, but with City's away form and our recent home form there's definitely a chance.

Of course anything will be better than the 5-1 steamrollering we got up there

Reckon Manchester City will slip up here. 1-0 Bournemouth win ending City's faint title hopes, and possibly sending them out the top 4.

Well, we might not quite be on the beach yet, but we're certainly wondering along the prom in our budgie smugglers and shades, cider in hand, looking for a good spot.

City on another planet, much more agressive, quicker in thought and movement, and their goals have been pathetically soft.

Only Simon Francis and Maxi Gradel have turned up.

How good are Aguero and De Bryune though. And how are City so far off the league pace?

That's a bit unfair. You shouldn't be letting Aguero beat you in the air, but KDB and Kolarov just scored two great goals. Fernando and Aguero's were hardly tap ins either.

Very annoying that City have been so inconsistent this season. At times they have played like that and put teams away but it's been few and far between. The injuries unsettling the side so much hasn't helped, but it's a mystery why they have just not scored more. So many games where they have had the same possession and chances as today - or even better - and come away with a point or nothing.

4th goal a great strike, no question.

KDB's goal was pathetic, did you not see the build up? Embarrassing defensive dithering.

City are plenty bloody good enough without laying chances on a plate for them.

Second half was a bit of a training ground exercise, City dropped a gear and we drew encouragment and improved to make it respectful, probably should have taken one of our openings and scored, but was never likely to make a proper game of it.

Plenty for Howe to ponder though, just need to make sure we learn from these beatings against the good sides.

9 of our starting 11 played for us in league 1 (some like Gradel at different times to the bulk of the squad), but it's absolutely suicidal to line those players up in a 4-4-2. It's so rare that Eddie gets it wrong but I'm amazed he felt that midfield was good enough to compete.

We've done our work on the whole for this season, disappointing way to lose more than anything but there's still another win or two in this season for us

The biggest attribute City have picked up in this era is their response to doubt. They've finished superbly in the final games in the last few years, rallying to go on impressive runs. Unfortunately, you can't write them off.

KDB is dynamite.
