Could be quite a new look attack with debuts set for Iturbe and Afobe, all being well with paperwork.

West Ham seem highly variable and inconsistent, but Andy Carroll will cause chaos if he plays. If West Ham focus on balls into him, they are guaranteed to score.

Our win up at their place was a memorable day, but fair to say a lot has happened since then.

For the first time this season we actually have options. Will be interesting to see how we line up but I imagine the new lads will start on the bench.

West Ham WILL score from a set piece, but bizarrely I'm quite optimistic about this one.

I'll go for another high scorer 3-2 to us but the next two after this are the massive, must wins

Could have been 1-0 up in under a minute!

One of our worst performances of the season this. Simple, 5 yard passes are beyond us today.

Having said that Payet is just incredible. A ludicrous freekick and his run for the second was sublime.

Valencia has possibly just bettered Payet's freekick there.

We need full time, and to start again ahead of the massive game on Saturday

Payet is amazing.

Otherwise, a very frustrating game. Very impressed and pleased with our first half. Missed two sitters and should have had a bigger lead. West Ham were creaking.

Second half West Ham cone out flying as you'd expect, they pin point our two midfielders who were controlling the first half in Ritchie and Arter, send one off injured and the other off for treatment never really to return. And they dominated. It was a matter of time before they equalised and took the lead.

Afobe looks the dogs bollocks. That's one highlight. And the first half was great. Need more of that, less of the second half retreat into our shell.

Again, Payet is class. West Ham will do well to hold onto him

Game of two halves innit.

Really? Only reading the BBC Updates, but it sound like he was a bit disappointing. Stepped on the ball when through and missed a 6 yard header.

Hope he does well, because he was quite overhyped at youth level so it'll be good see it wasn't total bollocks!

He's fantastic but at 29 years old I reckon West Ham might just keep him. His worth to West Ham will likely be greater than the price teams will need to pay.

Happy to see West Ham do well after being slammed for chucking Big Sam.

Afobe should have scored, that much is very true. But his all round touch and strength and runs are impressive and something I haven't seen since Wilson went down.

He's had two days at the club and I like what I see already.

Iturbe, it was totally the wrong time to introduce him, but with Ritchie off we had no choice. Ritchie's work rate was very much missed from midfield.

Angriest I've heard Eddie in a post match interview for a long, long time. The second half was very very poor and we were punished for not taking our chances at 1-0.

Afobe made the right runs , just didn't have the finish. Which is fine, but we have strikers currently who will do that, you pay for that incisivness and we will hopefully see it soon. There were positive signs though.

Roll on Norwich and Sunderland, two games that really could define our season
