Disappointed not to have won that. Randall should have stuck that chance in.
Having said that, two well matched sides and at least Caprice will replace Sweeney for the next few games. Think we need to get something at Newport now

3-1 up at half time. Its not been the easiest performance on the eyes from us this season by a long shot, but there is a strong wind and Bolton insist on playing out from the back despite not being very good at it so we're playing the right way for the situation. First goal was a howler from their keeper but followed up by two very neat finishes from us.

Bolton could then have had a penalty. Looked like one of those where Armer is tugging at the Bolton strikers shirt and he tries to stay on his feet until getting onto the area, then goes down, and that possibly makes the referee doubt it. We switched off at the back then and they were able to pull one back with a counter, so it's far from over.

Still, you can see Boltons problems, for all they're trying to be the intricate tikka-takka team, they don't have the players for it.

Good change, still would have gone with Smith off as well. If we are going 2 up top in theory Pope and Rodney could work I think.

0-0 h/t After the opening few minutes Rovers had the bulk of possession and good set-pieces not converted, but Bradford come closer to scoring could go either way.

See it out? You’re far more likely score a couple more.

Look a team (and I use that term loosely) that is just devoid of any confidence at all.

When we lead 2-0 never feels safe. When we trail by that it’s a done deal.

Though we’ve switched to 4-4-2 you can tell we have never done any shape work with any other formation.

Theo on now.

This is just a dishevelled mess. Barrow are winning this as they want it more and that is just disgusting.

The weather has gotten worse and the wind stronger and this second half is becoming a real slog. Could maybe do with someone like Furman or Toure on the pitch to keep the ball on the ground and not see the wind become Boltons 12th man.

0-1, poor defending allowed cross into the box and free-header. Since then mainly Bradford.

We haven’t got out of first gear. We are losing 2-0 at home and have not even got into second gear. Absolutely disgraceful

Amoo keeps trying make something happen but nobody is taking a chance and making space off the ball. Sign of a team not giving their all. Not good enough at all.

Classic, we score a perfectly good second goal which goes about a yard over the line (think Lampard v Germany), doesn't get given and then they equalise

Christ almighty you are not a Carlisle fan, grow a pair.
We’ve played the worst side in the league... they’ve had to do nothing to beat us, we’ve played the third worst side in the league, they’ve had to do nothing to beat us.

Make no mistake we are in massive trouble.

Today’s effort or lack off suggests maybe the rumours about the dressing room are true.

Embarrassed today. He has to walk.

Despite grossly incompetent officiating, we were still shite today. We concede so many late goals it's unreal, and we're going nowhere until we sort that out.

Well that feels like a defeat. We just didn't cope with the weather in the second half. That said it's pretty galling to see their equaliser scored by a player who should have been sent off before the eventual red card

I think there’s clearly something amiss. Not sure I buy it as a reason we are not cutting it on the field. Plenty of teams had teammates who hated each other but once cross the white line they do the business. Needs something get some spark. Maybe get that old Orient manager from that documentary in the 90s to go in there and offer them all out like he did on there. Nothing else is working.

I’ve not been Askey out but today was the kind of performance which often results in a manager losing his job and don’t think he could have many complaints if it did happen (I doubt it will though).

was you watching the same game.....you scored the first from a free kick with your player throwing himself to the ground
You scored your third straight after going up when we had a stone wall penalty not given.
We should have had a penalty again second half, then when we get it back to 3-3 we hit the post, what does the ref do......sends Kioso off for a foul where he just brushes him.......shocking performance from a inept referee

It’s as bad a performance as I’ve seen in years and takes some doing considering some of the tripe we’ve served under Norman.

It’s lacked anything about them. It’s X rated stuff. We are too fucking nice too. Yeah it was great being lauded by the press in the summer but jesus, we’ve got a huge injury crisis and we get a covid case... why not call it like everyone else in league one is doing? We’ve got no streetwise ability whatsoever on or off it.

Feel for Carol, they’ve pumped money in and they are making her look stupid, they are lucky they are behind closed doors because the fans would be absolutely raging there today.

Just going through the motions like it’s an end of season dead rubber.

The fact Legge is having to bark instructions second half. What is Askey doing! Going to get smashed the next two then hope Grimsby are still tosh.

Piss off Carlisle. 3-1 up at home to the worst side in the league and you somehow let it all slip away. And what's worse is Evatt's probably in seventh heaven right now.

Carver was right, the wheels fell off the CUFC's promotion wagon.
