Time to go. Shameful, we’ve barely got out of first gear and look like we can’t be arsed for a start. That in itself is unacceptable.

He’s survived long enough and it hadnt got toxic but it certainly is now. Loft walking around like he’s on a beach stroll, defending appallingly.

Barnsley just play balls down the channel as they did at Oakwell yet again we don’t learn and defend it at all.

If he survives today then someone is seriously wrong. That might be the only silver lining out of this as it surely forces Carols hand.

Edged out Charlton 1-0, game was low key, not many chances for either side. Pretty sure our goal was our first chance of the second half - Made by Dan Agyei, who is slowly feeling his way back into the team.

wtf, you can actually score goals? we're in trouble on Friday then.

FINALLY the worst team in the league is where it deserves to be. Bottom of the league.

The only surprise is the teams sitting just above are only a few points ahead. Terrible from them, as we aren’t just marginally the worst, we are the worst by a million miles.

I actually think we could be the worst team this league has seen. I certainly think we’ll be challenging Forest Green’s points low of last season. We have their captain playing for us to lend his experience in being shit.

FWIW you’re not even close to the conversation on how bad FGR were last season.

The two players today who can hold their heads high are a kid on loan in Devine and a player who is out of contract in a couple of weeks in Wilson.

Taylor has seriously lost the plot with his tactics and substitutions, not just today, but in the past 3 games now. Losing to bottom of the league in this manner is piss poor. Hopefully he’s gone tonight!

Yes! Well deserved. Disgraceful penalty award at the end, would have been a complete injustice if scored.
Wycombe were terrible and we are back!

Well deserved win that was, we made Portsmouth look very ordinary and they were lucky to finish with 11 players. Portsmouth had about 15 mins when they scored but apart from that we controlled the game.
Good signs of improvement but still concede in most games which needs to be worked on.

After a fairly even and scrappy first half, that second half was as comfortable as I've seen for a long time. Shrews offered absolutely nothing and couldn't have complained if it ended 3 or 4-0. The resurgence continues.

Battered them second half and had more than enough chances to get something there but can’t be putting in that first half. Even a half arsed effort first half we win that.

Says it all when two 16 year old academy players come on and we look better! Great for Shorrock to score as well.

Crosby out.

Well that's frustrating. Bolton always going to have all the ball, first half a none event. Bolton having 1 shot from Charles he pulled wide.

2nd half we were better, a bit more energy and in the game. Couldnt see Bolton scoring as they were getting more and more frustrated.

1 stupid challenge by Mandriou, again, straight red for sure, and you knew Bolton would find a way to score with all their attacking options.

Believe Mandriou will now be banned for 4 games, so even lighter up front. Thank god we've got as many points as we have already

Second half changes nothing for me. Barnsley clearly took their foot off the pedal. Some of our youth players like Shorrock and Lomax are already legitimately better footballers than one or two “senior” professionals.

It should be it for Crosby but as with Exeter we have a board who want to be seen different to everyone else so am under no illusions he won’t be in charge for Blackpool.

Oxford scored their winner in the 5th minute of stoppage time for the second year in a row - we should have been out of sight in the first half, but with no strikers on the pitch scoring was always going to be difficult for us.

Harsh not to get a point out of that, but at least that's five decent performances in a row - also, does Rodrigues always dive more often than Tom Daly or did we get a Christmas treat today?

Big win that for Exeter and desperately needed, good thing to as Cheltenham have won back to back games - could tell when we played them 2 weeks ago they won't be going down without a fight and Clarke has made them a competitive side again.

Comfortable win today, really felt like only one side turned up. I'd been expecting a tough game, we always seem to struggle vs Northampton and given their recent results I didn't think it'd pan out as it did.

They gifted us the opening goal, a mistake at the back gave Reid the chance one on one and he finished well to give us an early lead. After that it was pretty much one way traffic, didn't really think we played that well but we were the only side that looked like scoring, I can't even remember them getting in our half.

Roberts doubled our lead just before half time, his cross ended up beating the keeper. List should have made it 3 moments later but some how missed an open goal from the edge of the six yard box.

Was slightly concerned at half time that'd we'd me made to regret that miss but the game just continued in the same fashion. We did eventually get a third when a tackle turned in to a great assist for List who finished well across the keeper into the side netting.

There was a chance for a fourth late on, Reid through one on one which the keeper saved, the rebound fell to List, he beat the keeper but a defender was covering well and made sure it remained at three.

Agree, thought the last minute winner complimented Pompey because apart from that brief spell after they equalised, we neutralised them all game.

6 points from Bolton, Blackpool and Pompey. What a superb return!

I really have a good feeling about Taylor here, I’m curious if the board will back him in Jan to make a go of it, or rather build for next season. Play offs seem too far away unfortunately.

Mind you, some teams have to start drifting off eventually don’t they? So far the top 6 are on course to be getting 83 points+ each!

Second half wrongly saves him, at half time Carol surely has no choice, now it’s oooo look how we can play… ooo we’ve had our youngest ever league scorer.

We should of got something second half with the chances but it’s fully on Crosby that we are having the mountain to climb.

First goal, we’ve conceded that same goal 6-7 times now, sloppy, going to sleep. Second is weak as piss, identical to Boro second a week ago, third, great hit but Loft losing it with awful control costs us.

Loft should never play for us again, he is awful, Wilson coming on was like swapping a ford escort for a Ferrari, his touch, movement etc. Uche caused problems and provides effort at least which Loft doesn’t, can forgive lack of ability if the effort is at least there.

First time I’ve seen fans walking off and going home at half time, lazy and a lack of effort. Second half was more like the Wigan performance but that angers me more as it shows the game was there for the taking had we made an effort first half.

Crosby has to go, Wigan was great but even in this mini unbeaten run the win at Exeter and draw at Wycombe were dire performances and the first half today a level down on that even.

The fact two 16 year old lads from the academy did more in 15 minutes than some of the seasoned professionals is a disgrace. Lomax should of had an assist and Shorrock scored which is the only real positive.

Need a good January and a new manager.

We played well against Wigan because they all wanted a go in the boro game.
Nothing more.
He’s lost them.
He’s lost us.

I think that second half “improvement” should have a great big fucking asterisk next to it in all honesty. The only reason it happened was Barnsley took it easy and removed their two best players Cole and McAtee (who was excellent to be fair to him). If they wanted to they could have got close to the 7-0 again.

I’m happy for young Shorrock and Lomax, they showed some real life and frankly better technique than a couple of the bums namely Massey and Loft. Devine was good as was Wilson. Beyond that it’s reaching for any positive to take. Dreading the Blackpool game now.

That first ball Lomax put in was a beauty, yet Massey had obsessed with beating a man when Lomax just got it into the mixer.

Devine was quality and like I said anyone thinks we can afford not to extend Wilson to the summer is nuts.

Barely match fit he’s a massive upgrade on Loft and if we let him go I’ve zero faith we’d replace him with anyone close to his ability.

Whilst we right blast Crosby, Flitcroft needs to take some responsibility.

Isn't it amazing how us fans see a game differently.. I don't know how we lost this game. Bristol didn't deserve to win. A draw at best for them.

You must have been watching a different game than me. Pompey had total control. You fluked the winner. Our unbeatren run had to end sometime though

I think you can consider yourselves highly unfortunate not to win that game, let alone lose it.

The first half we were dreadful. To be honest we weren’t much better in the second until the goal.

Our injury list is extensive. We haven’t had a centre forward all season, our backup centre forward should be out on loan in the Conference North/South and our only two fit wingers really don’t offer what we need from them. We seriously lack any pace.

Rodrigues when on form is a delight. A lot of the time he is too quick for players at this level which draws a lot of fouls. The rest of the time it’s not great. Despite his antics, he does get most decisions which says more about the standard of refereeing… It’s not my cup of tea, however on occasion it is too much/needless and he puts us under unnecessary pressure.

The 3 goals we conceded, we have seen so many times before, particularly the first one. We concede off crosses with alarming regularity and did so again last season. It's basic defending. We actually started quite well and were on top until they scored, then we basically let them score. The second half was much improved and showed that actually Barnsley are just as shite as 90% of the league. Once again we've sat and admired one of the 'bigger' teams and then realised when it's too late that they're actually not that good.
