Whilst not official just yet, strong rumour has it that God himself is back in charge of the disappointing Latics.

Not only has that egotistical, clueless, small ball of helm-cheddar Dunn been sacked, but Corney has sent Dean Holden on his way too. Nothing against Holden personally, but it cant be coincidence that since he's been brought in as a coach - turned manager - turned coach our form has been utterly diabolical.

With God coming in it means we may see an away following more rightly attributed to Latics' general support, as this season they've been very poor - understandably so.

God may well fail here, but I can at least look forward to Latics game again. I was in two minds about going on Saturday, but if Sheridan is announced then I will definitely be there, as I would imagine hundreds more too.

I'd expect a couple of signings this week - hopefully a commanding CB and perhaps another striker to compliment the improving Murphy.

Likely team:

Joel Coleman

Cameron Dummigan - James Wilson - Timothee Dieng/New CB - Danny Lafferty

Carl Winchester - Liam Kelly - Mike Jones - Jonathan Forte

Rhys Murphy - Jake Cassidy/New ST
Prediction: Bradford 2-2 Latics (Murphy & Forte)

1,350 'tics (optimistic I know)

Don't know where the goals are gonna come from at the minute.

Can't wait for Davies to come back. Drop Hanson and start making the most of our current list of strikers technical capabilities.

If PP has watched any of our games this season then you definitely won't be dropping Hanson.

The Hanson debate takes up about 80% of our forum, undoubtedly he'll start again this weekend as ever

Shez'll probably do alright back at Oldham.

He'll never go down as the most popular manager we ever had (down to his persona, even though we won L2 & the JPT with him in charge) but he knocks the likes of Dunn and Saunders into a cocked hat, and knows what he's doing.

I never realised he was so popular with Oldham fans tbh...didn't his previous spell end under something of a Lee Hughes shaped cloud?

It did. Shez put it down to poor form as the reason for him leaving, and despite the form over the 8 games prior to that happening, I still believe it was the fracas at the dogs with the bellend that is Lee Hughes that ultimately sealed his destiny. We were still 8th when Shez left.

He's a bit of club legend, had us playing decent stuff at times and managed to get us in the playoffs. IMO the team we have now is better than the one he left, however it still needs fresh faces.

The overall mood amongst us fans has increased tenfold. The atmosphere at Valley Parade should be great on Saturday now and even if we dont manage to win, I can start looking forward to watching our games again.

Even if we get relegated this season, we now have a manager who knows how to get out of League 2.

Won't be off this, will it Bradford fans?

I can see the weather report suggests -2 tonight, though I've seen some simpletons suggest -9 which I find hard to believe.

The snow/frost covers have been on the last few days so there shouldn't be any worries, we've not had a home league game since 24th November so I hope it's not called off

We were pretty awful, certainly our final ball was, Oldham thankfully for us weren't any better. I felt a bit for them today though as it was one of those games where nothing goes for you when you're struggling

Oldham played some alright stuff but created maybe one chance. We are the opposite, look shite but fashion plenty of chances that we don't convert.

Bad challenge for the red but not sure it was a straight red, ref gave Oldham absolutely everything apart from that though and don't get why Reid got booed for rest of the game for getting crunched, how was it his fault?

This season just looks like it's fizzling out at the moment.

Starting to become really fed up with our football. Another 3 points today, but it's so dull to watch.

We never attack teams, we never play quick passes, our strikers couldn't finish their tea and we are so easy to defend against.

Something needs to change.

So so wish I could use the sentence "another 3 points" regularly. A point would do.

Well it wouldn't actually. Desperate for wins now
