Hoping for a win, Firthy! 2-1. Nathan Clarke to shin one through Williams' legs for their goal.

City 1-0 Shrewsbury. Hanson to score just seconds after McMahon misses a penalty.

Shrewsbury will score given how we are at the back, 1-1

Half time, City have controlled it without working the keeper enough, 1-0 a fair reflection

Dreadful.

That's all I've got to say about that.

Good point that. A tricky match that gets us off the mark!

It was great to see us play 2 big men upfront from the start, made us use the brand new pitch to our advantage.

HOOF.

Boring, pointless, negative football. We look 2 yards off the pace everywhere. God knows what we were doing in pre season.

I have just watched 8 minutes highlights on Player, and have to say I can understand comments from Bradford fans how you like to keep playing that big ball up to Hanson, far too predictable and whilst it will cause havoc with some teams, playing that way too much wont get you promoted. Clarke looks a great player for you and will be missed while he is out!

Regarding Shrewsbury it will be one step at a time for us!

Clarke will be a huge loss. Looks like the only player who wants to drive forward and actually create. Looking at our squad, no one is capable of filling his boots, unless Parkinson comes up with a way to play our wingers (who just simply will not fit into this stupid diamond system).

Mark Marshall ran into corners he couldn't get himself out of.
