Sounds like we could be without Hanson, Davies, Stead, Morais and Meredith. Would take a draw. 1-1.

Our away form is fantastic, Bradshaw, J.Chambers and Forde (our best striker, winger and centre back) are back.

2-0 Saddlers, Bradshaw and Hiwula! UTS

Happy to go tomorrow and see Bradford's ground in the light unlike last season!

Injuries or not - this has away win written all over it.

Still Stead will start; something like this.

Pickford

Darby - McArdle - McKenzie - Meredith

Morais - Liddle - Knott - Yeates

Clarke

Stead

0-1 (14,110 (586 Saddlers)

Be 250 Saddlers top, we are still a tiny club at this level and only a core travel away. Tough game this, fully expecting our away run to end. A point would be a great result.

That was an archaic war of attrition on the worst pitch I've seen in a long time, atrocious pitch. The standard of the game in the first half specifically was like Sunday morning stuff. Both teams resorted to scrappy long ball tactics and that meant we were completely anonymous going forward as we have 11 midgets. The amount of times we pumped the ball out of play with sliced clearances and stupid unforced errors in poor areas of the pitch was ridicolous. Bradford were marginally the better side, but neither side created much. The only bright spark was Hiwula and a good cameo from 17 year old Rico Henry at right back. We stayed organised predominantly, but we did nothing on the ball like we can and didn't really create a thing, Bradford may feel slightly hard done by, but it would be splitting hairs.

Nice ground, another ticked off the list. Good atmosphere too.

Don't worry, Spike will be on soon to tell us the pitch didn't play that badly

HOOF, didn't like Bradford style of play at all, especially since they have excellent footballers at the club like Billy Clarke and Knot who can play. In hindsight though that style of play better suited the pitch by miles to well done to Bradford for exploiting it, caused us real problems all game and we couldn't deal with the poor bounces, the stickiness of the pitch or the bobbles.

Ah well, terrible game, both sides poor-ish. Draw probably slightly fortuitous for us but still I think we deserved it.

Played poorly but I'm going to put that don't to a poor pitch hindering our style of play and Bradford being a very good side with insane squad depth. Fucking Francois Zoko is like 4 choice striker for fuck sake

Subs made all the different, well done Smith, made the right subs at the right time. Hiwula was fantastic and lively, Taylor struggled with the pitch and Cook's delivery is yet again superb.

Yep. Henry and Grimes combined well for the equaliser and Grimes played higher up the pitch than Sawyers so we looked a little more likely. It does make me wonder whether Smith will give Sawyers a rest for a few weeks and play Hiwula next to Bradshaw if we can extend his loan. Hiwula was a bright spark, 3 in 5 now. If we can get the extended then we could have some good striking options. Wouldn't mind signing him and Cain in the summer.

I thought Walsall hoofed it as much as us to be fair. They weren't a poor side but I thought they definitely came for the point. They showed a bit of urgency when they went a goal down but then sat back when they scored and we could have had a winner of Zoko wasn't pub league standard. We looked very tired with injuries and recent exploits. It was a decent point really.
