Here we see one of the main contenders.
Brazil look a much better team than the one they had in 2014. They have jettisoned the walking calamity that is David Luiz and I doubt they lose stalwarts Thiago Silva and Neymar at the same time again. Plus Coutinho and Gabriel Jesus give them much better attacking depth than they had in 2014, where they were led by Fred and Hulk.
Still, I have my doubts. The 2016 Copa America squad was knocked out in the group stages and whilst they made short work of qualifying and i'd like to see some evidence before proclaiming them favourites.
As for the Swiss, they are another that never disgrace themselves on a major stage, but never do much either. Since 1994, they have made it to 8 major tournaments, but failed to win a single knockout game in 5 tries. With the other 2 teams in this group tough ones, they'll have to play well to make it into the knockout stages. All eyes will no doubt be on Shaqiri once again.
You'd fancy Brazil to win this one, but Switzerland are no mugs and could cause some problems.
