An enjoyable day. A few beers by the river and a decent game. Tomlin was either going to score or get sent off imo, great finish by 'the fat bastard'
Certainly a good point as Brentford play some nice stuff. Very impressed with their no 47 and no 6, two fine players.
Well played R O'D, our motm by a mile!
Only gripe is that away stand, it's terrible.
I love that stand! Used to be the home end, you can project a lot of noise out of that bottom tier

I was in the top tier, it was dreadful! God forbid they ever have to evacuate it quickly.
As you're moving I don't suppose it matters but it has shocking access wtgr.

And the taps for the toilets didn't work at HT!

Maybe downstairs is OK but upstairs is crap!

Terracing downstairs is brilliant. Best away end I've been in. Why didn't you join us in there? They weren't checking tickets once you got through the turnstiles.

I was downstairs when the 'fat bastard' scored which was good as the queue to get back upstairs was stupidly slow. Terracing next season methinks.
Oh yeah 'HANDBALL'!!!!! :fish:

Their no 6, Harley Dean, IF Baker has to go back to Villa, I wouldn't mind seeing him at our place next season and that little 47, Sergi Canos, was class. Is he the kid on loan from Liverpool? Some player!

It helped him that he had 20 yards of space every time the ball was pinged out to that left side. Thought Matthews was shocking today, positionally really awful. Played very well against Wednesday but apart from that has been a mixture of average and poor and as I've said before, I'm sceptical. If LJ wants him I'll trust his judgement but I think we can do better.

Hahaha, the handball was brilliant :pmsl:

The best one was when the ball went out, their player bent down to pick up the ball and 'HANDBALL'

So nice to see the season ending with such a feel good factor. Tomlin banging the goals in, great away days, big season ticket sales looking likely, the new stand looking fantastic.. promise of young and hungry signings in the summer! I cant wait for next season, and I may be relocating to Italy so will be able to make a lot more games! :D

After having a bit of a pop at their away stand, I have to be honest.
Today, obviously, put a few demons to bed for me on a personal level and I will mourn the passing of grounds like Griffin park. A proper community feel, old school football ground. I appreciate Brentford have to move to compete but the old stadia, with houses backing each stand will be sadly missed IMHO.
The Bees fans I met, in the Brewery tap pre-game, were good fun and I thoroughly enjoyed their company.
Decent club are the Bees and I genuinely never thought I would have anything but pure hatred for them.
God on ya lads, you changed my mind today.

I wouldn't say he played particularly well, but he made some cracking saves. His positioning was reasonably poor, and his distribution put you in trouble quite a few times.

Still, his saves definitely won him man of the match

Yeah, I agree with that - I think O'Donnell's positioning really is questionable, but he's a definite upgrade on Fielding.

The good thing as well is positioning and distribution can be trained and improved, shot stopping is much more instinctive

Wasn't Harlee Dean the one who looked terrible in the reverse fixture?
