Strangely confident for this one. Already a sell out Griffin Park, should be a great night under the lights.

I'd love to take something to the Riverside from this game, a draw would do, but I think we can push for a win. We were very unlucky to lose the home game earlier in the season, Boro rode their luck a lot. They did dismantle us when we played away from home, but I fancy us for this game.

2-1 Bees. Pritchard & Long for the Bees, Adomah for Boro.

Team as below:

If Gray doesn't start I'll be extremely shocked. Plus he played really well against Wigan I thought.

Hopefully we can get a lead to take to the second leg although I won't be too dissapointed with a draw as our away form has been good this season.

I think he'll have more space in the away leg, where Boro are more likely to come at us. Boro will most likely sit back as much as possible for a lot of the game on Friday, and I think Long does better in those situations. Granted he has been injured, but should also be fresh.

Strangely confident for this game, don't know why given we are yet to score against them this season. Would definitely take a draw though.

If Toums scores...
I was so gutted he wasn't on the pitch when we got the pen on Saturday.

If we were to get to Wembley, and he scored, I don't think the barriers would stop us getting into that pitch!

Really hope Brentford win. Don't really have much admiration for Middlesbrough as they wouldn't be anywhere near the top if it wasn't for borrowing Chelsea's youth team players this season.

Brentford 2-0 Middlesbrough
Gray and Pritchard to score

Starting to feel very nervous. Imperative we don't lose this first leg as I can't see us winning up at Boro next week. Come on Brentford!

Slightly off topic but since when did Diagouraga start getting into the 11? I know he's been in it a while now but I swear there was a time he was out on loan? Although I may be mistaken.

He was on loan at Portsmouth last season in league two and looked to be on his way out in the summer but stayed. He then got a game at Watford last September and has been an ever present ever since. Remarkable transformation really, I don't think he has been anything below an 8/10 in any of his games this season, fantastic footballer. He also won the player of the season award last week!

Looking forward to this one, got it set for record when I get in from work. I think it'll be quite a tight game in the first leg, wouldn't be surprised to see Brentford edge the first leg and take a lead up to the Riverside.

Good luck to Andre Gray - got to say I've felt pretty smug this season, as on the old TFF I was constantly shot down for saying he was the best player in the division last season. Proving this year that he has the potential to be the real deal - I've got to say he's shocked me as to his progress. I thought he'd be a bit like Jamie Vardy in his first season at Championship level and then push on in year 2 - he's skipped that stage!

£600,000 well spent. Stick in a hat-trick tonight Andre and that rises to £650,000.

Thunderbolted against the post - the faintest of touches from Konstantopolous helps it on his way.

75% possession Brentford's way - and they look by far the more threatening side.

Vossen 0-1.

Completely free header - shocking defending.

For all their play Brentford find themselves a goal down, Vossen free header from 5 yards. Marking is AWOL.

Dangerous free kick here for Brentford...

Disappointing for Brentford, they've been comfortably on top. Terrible defending though, we'd have a field day against them if we met them based on that.

Fancy them to get back into this leg, mind.

Button superb save from point blank range - Vossen convinced it went in.

Boro 4 yellows after 40 minutes, both fullback and midfielders in front of them.

Could make for an interesting second half...!

Grey with a golden chance - and spoons over from 6 yards.

Key moment that.
