Deserved result in the end. We were pretty bad before the subs made on and around the hour mark. Didn't look like conceding too often, but did allow a lot of shots from outside the box against our goal, and on another day could have been punished for it. Looked a bit dangerous from set pieces which was a pleasant surprise!

One massive plus point in Marinus' book is he (at least from early signs) is great at tweaking the tactics and formation to go and get a result.

A few signs of improvement of late. Don't think we'll trouble either end of the table, but the sooner we get some players back from injury the better.

Preston looked quite dangerous early on, lots of long balls to the wide strikers, but you seemed to just pull off too much and began to let us play. Changing formation and bringing on the No. 7 was a big mistake in my book, allowed us to push forward more and suddenly we were winning the midfield battle, whereas you had been all over our CMs in the first half.

We're not good enough to stay up at the minute.

Can't comment on games as I'm exiled in Kent but Grayson is the worlds most predictable man, go one up and defend like beavers.

We conceded directly after a sub and change of system on Tuesday as well, frustrating.

Still no goal for Garner? Is he struggling? Seems all the promoted teams are in a bit of a fight this season.

Didn't do too much other than throw himself to the ground. Was pretty much the only Preston doing that though, which is a nice change in the Championship!

Ah you've noticed that too. It's pathetic. Noticeably different to the league below

I'd be interested to see an injury to physio called on the pitch ratio for each club in the league, and across the divisions.

Thank god we won that. Fully deserved against a pretty poor Preston side. We got caught cold at the start and looked a bit shell shocked for the first 15-20 minutes. But after that we were clearly the better side. Delighted to see Vibe and Djuricin on the scoresheet again, they are looking like great signings. Djuricins goal was a fantastic bit of skill to flick it over the defender and a clinical finish. Why oh why did Warburton turn signing him down in January when he was exactly what we needed!?

He was shit, most noteful thing he did was spend five minutes rolling around on the floor clutching his head trying to get McCormack sent off.

None of our strikers have scored because we play one up front and the majority of the time we're just lumping aimless balls forward.

Sign two strikers on deadline day and play them on the wing. Ace.

Well he should have scored first half but yeah, didn't do anything apart from win a load of headers that went nowhere because he's too isolated.

I was surprised he won so many headers considering his size. Didn't think May or Doyle (?) did too bad on the ball, but their positioning didn't work, though that should improve in time

Yeah his jumping is incredible, gets up early and then just hangs in the air.

Early signs to me indicate that Doyle is better than May on the ball. Wish we had signed Doyle permanently and May on loan but it wasn't to be!

Garner hasn't scored because we have to have 10 men behind the ball at All Times!!

Well that's just not true. Come on, I know he can be a bit defensive but I'm not being funny, Saturday was not his fault. Just shit performances from several players in the 2nd half.
