Massive game for both.
Samuels could be back, which is a boost.
A game we cannot afford to lose and I don't think we will.
Unfortunately our destiny is out of our own hands now.
Don't know why but I fancy us to win this one.
That's fucked it then!

We won't win this. Whenever we get a big crowd at home with a lot of expectation we tend to bottle it (could've gone for Bottlers v Bottlers in the title)...Oxford when we won the Conf, Bradford in the play offs...and I'm sure we've got a history of helping the opposition end bad runs.

Realistically there's only 2 players you've got to keep quiet to prevent us from scoring. If Gillingham can do that then they'll win. We're also owed an atrocious refereeing decision from last week. Karmas a bitch.

Burton Bottlers 0 - 2 Gillingham Bottlers with Clough to give a one fingered salute at the end as a farewell.

Going to this, can't wait over 700 tickets apparently sold.

Also think well get something from the game as all the pressure is on burton.

The club (burton) are claiming home tickets are almost sold out. If this is correct, it's a shame Gillingham aren't bringing more, we could have set a new stadium record - which was set in the conference against Oxford in 2009 (6192), a game we needed to win to get promoted (we lost it 1-0!). The capacity of the ground has since been revised upwards (now 6912).

As an aside, someone posted this on the brewers forum, average attendances throughout the years. Actually if it went back to 2000 the average attendance then was 600. Quite an impressive rise IMHO.

2006/2007 1,869
2007/2008 1,786
2008/2009 2,434 (promotion from conference season)
2009/2010 3,191
2010/2011 2,948
2011/2012 2,809
2012/2013 2,859
2013/2014 2,720
2014/2015 3.237
2015/2016 4,100+

It's a shame we've been poor recently, a lot of us are thinking we've blown it. Having not been out of the top four since last August, we've now dropped out of the play off places for the first time.
Had we won our last three home games instead of losing them, we could have sold 5,000 tickets for this game tomorrow, not that Burton could have accommodated us.

Way too negative man. We will win this, and get promotion. Got a lot of time for Gills fans, had some decent banter with them in the past.

Yeah especially in our promotion season, lots of Gills have fond memories of the final day that year.

I've got a lot of time for them as well. Can't see anything in my post that criticised them. The one fingered salute was for the home fans. Noticed Gillingham have stuck by their manager during their blip. A similar bad run for for us and we're burning effigies of ours outside the Pirelli.

I want us to win as much as you but you know as well as I do that if things aren't going our way today or if we're losing then the atmosphere turns hostile towards our own players. Fucking hell mate, there were people fighting in the home end and getting thrown out when we were losing to Wigan the other week! To that end all Gillingham have to do is keep it tight for an hour and they'll win.

Ridiculous that Walsall are allowed to play on Easter Monday. Towards the end of the season, all games should start at the same time.

You underestimate us Barton, we took 5500 to Wrexham final game of the season in this league when we could have won auto-promotion to the Championship.
Point taken - but we took 11000 to man Utd in the cup but I doubt we would do it again, if u catch my meaning.
Just saying 5k to us ( if we could hold you ) would be a big ask.
Shame u could not sell out today and then we have a full capacity.

For some reason, I dreamt that we were stuffed 4-0, so that is one correct score bet I shall be putting on today.

Our game against 'Wall will therefore be of no consequence.

Burton to seal the deal today then folks. Congrats Brewers. Big game for the Gills, they need something from this as I don't fancy them beating Millwall next week and Barnsley should win today.

We can't seal the deal today as you put it.
We can go six points clear of u but you have six points to play for - so we can't go up.
I think we will draw today so that means if you win Monday its in the melting pot

Had all the chances and lost for the second week in a row, after two injuries in the first 15 minutes. Clearly wasn't meant to be.

Pleased to say I was totally wrong although if Gillingham could finish they'd have murdered us. Might be wrong but I think our winner was our first goal from a corner this season. Great game though.

I still think we'll need a point at Donny next week.

We had the possession but gills had the best chances.
Thought it was a good game and both teams gave it their all.
Great winning goal - we never score from corners so was surprised
Looking forward to donny now. Need a point
At least gills live to fight another day with Colchesters equaliser

With all due respect to the Saddlers I think winning both their remaining matches by the margin required will be beyond them. Its a very big ask.
Odd game today but this team don't know when to give in, late late drama with Tom Naylors 93rd minute winner and its a football fairy tale.

Felt for the players today, loft and McDonald were outstanding today.

Didn't realise colchester had equalised till I stopped off at Watford gap when over heard other gills fans saying we still had a chance

Congrats Burton. You kept consistent whilst some of us (ahem) lost our heads. You deserve it.

Go show those big clubs a thing or two

We're not quite there yet! Really appreciate it though. Thank you. Had a scan through Twitter last night and there was some pretty abrasive stuff aimed our way for having the nerve to be on the brink of something huge. I used to let shit like that get to me but I just say "fuck 'em" now.
