4-2 Brighton, no way we're winning this. If we do I'll be incredibly surprised.

I've been positive, for me from what I've watched, Brighton and Newcastle are far and away the best sides in this division, we scraped a draw against Newcastle somehow, but that was at home, can't see us walking away from the Amex with any thing.

Anything could happen. It's on TV, for starters - we're due a bottlejob on Sky (probably).

In all seriousness, always nice to have a new team visit the Amex.

Well that was shit defending, great goal though.

Brighton are doing my fucking head in though, on the floor any time they're touched and the ref's buying it.

Still, bit annoyed at 1-1, as we've kept Brighton relatively quiet so far, they've had one good chance, and unfortunately scored it. But then, we've only had one good chance. Fair so far. Still see us losing, mind you.

If you'd have offered me that before the game kicked off, I'd have been happy. I can't be happy with a draw after that though, once Grealish came on, there was only one team in it. Fair play to Brighton though, defended well.

Considering we did that against the team who, recently in my opinion, have been the best team in the division, I can take a lot of encouragement from it. Onto the next one!

Never thought I could love an ex-bluenose as much as I do Bruce right now.

An unusually refreshing experience to see Villa pen the opposition in for such a prolonged spell. Grealish ran the show when he came on with a Cruyff like swagger to his play. Really should have won, but more than happy to know we can dominate games with attractive football as well as pick up points.

Respectable point, really. We always seem to look lacklustre in the game immediately following an international break, but glad we stood strong towards the end and could produce a moment of real quality earlier in the game when we badly needed it.

Villa have plenty about them, pressed very well and made it difficult for us to get into our groove, for that they deserve great credit. They won't lose many under Bruce and expect they'll continue to make their ascent towards the top six.
