Lee Johnson out mate or what?
I wouldn't, we played really well today but missed a shite ton of chances, conceded a soft goal, got back into the game and two individual errors cost us again.

So many of our summer signings haven't even been used though, complete waste of money.

He needs to turn it round though. Fair play to your lot, that was a proper away performance and fuck me I wish we played like that away from home.

Ive kept cheerful until now, but this is enough now. Feel like shite. Such promise back in August, now we've reverted to the same old crap that we've been putting up with for the past 120 years.

If we ever want to be anything more than relegation fodder, we need to be setting our sights higher than the likes of Reid, Pack and Brownhill. Nice lads, but there simply isnt enough quality or consistancy there to impact a game. We have a massive massive January window ahead of us. Major surgery needed if we want to avoid more embarassments like today.

I love how much everybody hates losing to shitty old Preston.

Good 3 points that and with two tough home games coming up definetly needed.

Let's hope Hemmings is feeling generous in January as a bit more investment up top and we really could have a brilliant second half to the season.

As if we're going to attract anyone decent in January permanently whilst we're in a relegation battle.

Stupid bloody game. We didn't deserve to lose that but as night follows day, our luck is shocking.
I'm not sure what the answer is TBH but LJ has to be questioned, new contract or not. I'm not saying get rid but MA et al need to ask him some tough questions.

Not at all Leyland, we've got a lot of time for your club in BS3. We're fed up because our team, which started the season so well and started todays game well, turn to utter rat shit so regularly. Nothing against PNE at all

Played really well today? I don't think so. We played well up until they scored and then ran out of ideas. Missed an absolute sitter before the break too.

We are simply not good enough, and it doesn't help when you have a manager who doesn't know his best team or formation. In December ffs,.....still no goal from open play in the first half at home, that is quite simply embarrassing. Remind me what he's done to warrant a new contract?

As for Preston, fully deserved. Didn't like some of their play acting but looked good on the ball and have players that will cause teams problems.

Yep, for the first 20 we were good but the wheels fell off again, as soon as they scored.
The 2nd goal looked a tad fortunate from where I was but I have no problem with the result.
Not good enough City, not even close.

Yeah, that first 20 was our best start to a game all season. Then we created a couple of chances before the break, had them pegged back second half, got our goal and conceded an absolute shocker on the break.

Preston were effective, don't actually think we were that bad today, but I'm past the point in caring. This season's got nothing riding on it.

Somebody has posted a stat on our forum that under Grayson we've only lost once in 110 games when scoring first. Pretty impressive.

Ben Pearson PNE's unsung hero today, followed Tomlin absolutely everywhere. Went beyond man marking, it was ridiculous. Didn't give Tomlin a moment on the ball to play like most other sides do in this league, fair play to him.
