The Bristol sport link has been removed now. What a fook up!
We can't even break our transfer record without cocking it up.
Who cares though?

Great to get this deal over the line, Tomlin and O'Neill could persuade the likes of Matthews and (dreaming slightly here) Baker to come back, they saw how well we were doing in the back end of the season. Wonder how much Lansdown is prepared to spend this window should LJ ask for it, I know he's said there aren't budgets as such but there has to be a limit.

Alistair Durden reckons its not a record transfer, so less than the £2.25m for Maynard, even better deal then.

Tbh even if it is £3m (guess that's with add-ons included) I'd say that's an absolute steal the way the market is nowadays

We paid 3m for Forestieri, that was a bargain.

Baker won't be coming here, I can safely say. He's on much more than Tomlin and O'Neil are, we'll be in the market for other centre backs.

The £3M figure came from the Bournemouth end to be fair, not ours.
That happens with every transfer usually, the club buying say they got it the player for less, the club selling say they got more for him

Well he was supposedly on what £20k at Villa? Wonder how much we're paying Tomlin... Yeah seems a bit unrealistic but maybe the outside chance of getting him on loan again maybe, if Villa are bolstering their CB options then decreases the chances he will play for them. However other options like Mawson, Ekstrand etc are probably better financially.

And I'd generally trust Durden, usually pretty much gets stuff spot on and only puts it out if true.

Baker's on quite a bit more than that. Possibly here on loan again though.

Tomlin will be on about £20k I expect. Same as O'Neil.

Just been told Elkstrand is next. No idea if it's right. JJH? You're in the trade?
Still hoping it's Canos myself.

Haven't heard anything mate. JonBCFC would probably be in a better position to comment than I am.

Canos would be fantastic. It's now proven that Lansdown is putting his money where his mouth is, there should be more signings to get excited about this summer :D

Agree. I'd say Tomlin's as good a player. Hopefully he can have a similar effect for us!
Time will tell, I know you City fans obviously rate him but I've never been overly impressed, strikes me as a petulant flat track bully, i'd wager over a season we get more from 1FF than you will LT.

You saw what he did against you. He did that week in week out whilst he was here.

Time will tell though.

six goals in 18 suggests he didn't do it week in week out. I'll have a forum bet with you that 1FF scores and gets more assists than LT

He's a midfielder. I don't doubt Forestieri will score more than Tomlin, being a striker.

Tomlin genuinely did do it week in week out, a 1 in 3 record is fantastic for a midfielder.

Tomlin is not a midfielder, as much as 1FF isn't a striker, both are forwards and 1FF is played out left.
