Want to hear something really funny?

Looks like you'll be seeing more tents in the future if the tweet by Keith Chimp on twitter is anything to go by!

UWE fallen through!

:bg:
REALLY??
Who is Keith Chimp and how reliable is he?

Not really sure Ciderup only going by what was posted on twitter and OTIB, says he's the former finance director of BRFC, so make what you will of it.

He didn't actually say that in fairness, just claimed that he was meeting with Jaap Stam.

Known joke. Don't get too excited
No smoke without fire Aber and it's gone very, very quiet.
I've read something about UWE wanting regular match day finance (from car parks, bars and food or something) which Nick higgs agreed to but Al Quadi won't honour. It seems like UWE want something out of it which is fair enough but for everything they take, you lose that amount.
Is that about right?

That's a nice looking stand. Old school look, much better than a brand new soulless bowl.
Modelled on the east stand at Elland Road I believe, two meters shorter but holds a few thousand less. Looking pretty good.

Think we're near enough there now, a back up striker and centre back, maybe a right winger but its looking good. Hopefully someone in league 1 wants to buy Little off us now. Fantastic business by City to have a no recall clause.

No, because most of the loans we brought in didn't feature for a whole match.

Hardly year long injuries like Vokes/Velicka etc, Gladwin was out for a bit and recalled by QPR, he would have been back within a month or so. Moore was also not a long term injury. Baker had a couple of injuries but featured for the majority of the season.

That's wierd! My lad, who's 15 now and a Chelsea supporting gloring hunting big shit, saw that we had signed Matthews on loan and reminded me of a game he went to when he followed the mighty cidereds with me and the name he mentioned was george Elokobi, another one who suffered a dreadful injury on loan with us. That was a few years ago and I had totally forgotten about him. That was a bad one IIRC. Going back even further, who was the Portuguese lad who suffered a horrific ankle injury when a Reading centre half stamped on him? Danny Rodriguez?
We've got a really shite record with loan players getting injured to be fair.

When you say 'going back even further' jeez, had to look him up. But yeah we had a spat of loanees getting injured near the start of their spells, don't think we need to revisit Elokobi, that was a particularly horrible one.

I would have said the Danny Rodriguez one was worse bud, I'm not sure if he ever played again.
