A draw was not a fair result, at all!

Sounded like a draw was a fair result, as long as we have our shooting boots on next match we'll be fine.

Would like to think your right Luke, but I feel we'll have to go to Preston and at least take a point to take the title!

The title race is far from over but theres too many "ifs" at this moment in time for it to be more than an unlikely possibility.

They need to beat us, win at Barnsley, win at Notts County plus better our results in the remaining games. Can they really keep up such impressive form?

Should of won that, absolutely battered them 2nd half. Never mind, still 5 points clear of preston even if they win their games in hand I think?

It didn't sound that one sided from the commentary, to say it was the most one-sided game you've ever seen would suggest you've not seen too many games.

We can, but I still think you'll win the league.

No need for that. I think being at the game rather than listening to a (usually biased) local radio commentry puts him in a better position to judge. Either way, Youve improved massively since january, so well done.

I'd be delighted if we caught Bristol City but I just want out of this league so second will do fine.

First half pretty even, some nice football but zero penetration. After the break we did everything but score, absolutely all over them just couldn't get the breaks in and around the box. Blatant pen turned down as well, Flint was literally thrown to the ground running in at the back post. Gills did have one ruled out for offside late on but that would've been the ultimate smash and grab.

But... can't win every game. Well defended Gills, that lad Egan looks a cracking prospect

Blame the shite ref suffering from small man syndrome

I thought we were a bit flat at times, maybe a bit of pre Wembley stuff, not wanting to get hurt etc etc but we probably did enough to warrant a win.
The Gills are certainly an improved side and I thought their defensive side has improved dramatically. They are certainly no mugs.
Good luck to the Gills, but WTGR to them, I am thoroughly sick of the sight of them now as I'm sure they are of us.
A win on Tuesday and all will be well in the world.

First half we had loads of possession but not many chances.

Second half was one way traffic except an offside goal by Gillingham. Frustrating not to score but some credit must go to the Gills defence that did well. And the ref who failed to give us a clear pen.

You have these days! But can't complain at the recent run and we didn't play badly today.

After the 3 away games, I thought we are sometimes better away from the Gate. At half time, I was expecting a Crawley / Yeovil onslaught where we had drawn the opposition's sting and then hammered them in the second. While we were clearly the better side in the 2nd half, with the crowd being a bit flat, it was if we never really got going, certainly not hitting the gears we have available.
Like TTOCS, I am really missing the EE but we will have to get used to it, I suppose. We, the crowd, should have lifted our team today but it was as if we all went in to the game waiting for the team to lift us rather than the other way around when it was needed today.

Think JET had two thirds of our shots on target.
Agard isn't great in general and very poor today.
Pack dominated the game and deservedly got mom.
Should have been an easy win but Gillingham clearly an upper midtable team.

Indeed, Agard was poor today.
I'm not sure JET and Wilbs are on the same wavelength though. Someone by me in the Atyeo said that's the first time they've played together all season which would explain it, surely that's not right?

No that's not right but I don't think they have ever started a league game together.

Blimey! Genuinely surprised at that but it did look like it at times today. The bloke who said it is a right know it all cock so I will gladly tell him he's wrong on Tuesday. :)

First half: Gills played well, game was heading towards a stalemate with no notable chances for either side.

Second half: Pretty much an onslaught from us with Gills lucky to get a point. Combination of poor finishing, last minute blocks, poor decision making and a poor refereeing performance, in which one of the most blatant penalties you'll ever witness was turned down.

I predicted 0-0 on this thread last Wednesday, but didn't have a bet on it. Couldn't make it today, but my son was there and said we battled to nick a point, but Doncaster nicked a point off us last week, so these things tend to even up some times.

Gills were much more solid than in previous meetings, but we should of won that today, we had countless chances.

Pack ran the show, he was fantastic again, and now he has a consistent place in the side, he's really shining.

Also, JET must start Tuesday. He came on and tore Gills a new one, him and Wilbraham should be tried, as I'm still not convinced by Agard.

As for Gills, fair play, you battled hard and nicked a point you probably didn't deserve, and you can only take positives in that. Dack was superb, and Egan looked good.

All the best for the rest of the season.

Onto Crewe now, we have the leeway to drop points every so often with our point gap.

Bounce back with a win and all is forgotten - JET to start and do what Garner did to Crewe's back line today.

Just back from the game, as above 1st half was pretty even, 2nd half we defended for our lives and got a well earned point could have nicked it with the disallowed goal but it wasn't to be.

Just glad we don't have to play city anymore this season

Good luck for the rest of the season and we'll see you next season in the cups

How the hell did we not win that?!

Most one sided game I've ever seen.

You are correct, there was no need for that, reading it back it was a twattish post. Mr Gow, I apologise.

Best of luck next season City.

Cheers JJH, not given up on play off spot yet, with Crawley, Orient and Colchester to come, we have to give it a go. I would wish you good luck but I'm pretty sure you won't need it as I reckon you're home and dry.
