Very pleased with that. We had to work damn hard for it, Leeds are a good outfit that's a very good win.

And I was talking about frailties at the back, that's 2 clean sheets on the spin and that was our best defensive performance to date.

I'm reevaluating my prediction off the play offs to top 2. We never ever beat Leeds.

In all seriousness I think a point would of been fair. We only got going in stages and Leeds nearly caught us a couple of times. Agree with above, Bryan was poor. I though Tammy struggled too along with Reid, who struggled defensively. Game seemed to pass him by. Flint back to his best and Pack really has come on massively since LJ has come in. He wasn't as bad as some made out before but improvement is there for all to see.

On to Saturday, and hopefully another 3 point to go into the international break ( another one already )

Very cagey game that, and Leeds can feel pretty hard done by there. Lots of our better players weren't really at it, Bryan was poor, Magnusson was shaky and Abraham was nullified by their towering centre halves. Freeman and Paterson were very good in patches, Tomlin set up the goal (suspended for Saturday now, hope the incident hasn't been caught on camera because my mate who was in the away end reckons he twatted Dallas). Pack and Reid good again.

Resolute team performance, our shape was solid and Leeds' one out ball was Sacko who was excellent and had Bryan on toast, if they were to score it was going to come through him.

Up to 5th after 10 games, I'm getting a nose bleed...

We were the better side for only the middle 30 and second best the rest. Great win in those circumstances, with a half fit centre forward although Leeds creating nothing in the last 15.

They overloaded against Bryan who often had 3 on 1, Freeman was nowhere whether through fault or design but their winger couldnt pick out the final finish.

Leeds were much better than I imagined.

Champagne moment: Freeman's Bas Savage impression at the end  He's never going to score at the Gate bless him.

But to be fair he had a great game tonight, he's getting there with every passing game. I really hope he comes good

As long as you keep predicting us to lose we should be okay

I predicted us to win against Fulham in the end, and I'd have been very confident going into Saturday's game if we'd have had Tomlin available.

Anyone know why their nutjob centre half randomly picked the ball up and smashed it half way to the Mem? What a weirdo.

Burst ball apparently.

If it wasn't then it is now

Hope those officials don't get a game Saturday, they were all beyond wank. I'd have had a full on meltdown if they'd have equalised, every fucking decision went their way.

Tonight's ref has always been one that likes the game to be about him.
Though we have only ever won 3 games he has been in charge of, and both of the 2 previous to this game were during our promotion seasons.

I know it's always the case but our commentators were very frustrated with the decisions going against us...

I'm still optimistic despite that as we've improved considerably in the last few weeks so if we tie down the loanees then next year could be a good one. If we start from scratch again I'm gonna go ape.

Leeds fans at the end were booing the ref, and some on twitter suggesting he was a Bristol city fan! Funny how opinions when it's involving your own team differ. I thought he was horrendous, and personally thought he was giving Leeds more decisions than us but he was poor for both teams overall.

As for the game, Leeds looked a very decent outfit and can see them making top half definitely.. Chris wood looked shocking though.

I thought all of our midfield were fantastic last night, plus flint was superb too. Bryan wasn't anywhere near his best last night and looked knackered towards the end,but he still made a few last ditch challenges.

If you'd have won your fans would've carried him off the pitch, absolutely fucking everything went your way. Absolute joke.

Well it's hard to really agree or disagree when both sets are biased (albeit our commentator is an Everton fan). At the end of the day everyone thinks their tackles aren't fouls and the opposition's are etc. Not including the goal as I don't think we can complain about a missing foul there.

It wasn't that, it was the decisions for throw-ins, goal kicks, corners etc. If there was any doubt in his mind the decision went your way, it was so frustrating. I think your fans lost it with him after Jansson's incident where he kicked the ball away which was strange. My mate in the away end reckons Tomlin punched Dallas as well which went unpunished but I was up the other end so couldn't tell you.

General consensus was Tomlin caught Dallas in the face and then Dallas put his head in but yeah.

That's why jansson got booked? Wandered what he did because I wasn't looking. Then the whole sequence of events afterwards I didn't understand what was happening either.

Probably should have been off considering he yanked the ref back after his booking.

A very tough game last night, gotta say Leeds have improved a hell of a lot since last season like us. Delighted we grinded out the win and to the start of the season.
Very impressed with leeds centre halves. Looked solid

It's mad how a couple of good centre halves can make such a difference. We've missed a commanding partnership since Kisnorbo and Naylor in League One. Bartley and Jansson are a very good combination...just a shame they're both on loan (for now).
