You live overseas Techno Natch?

I have a bad feeling that we've just entered a little blip that will last for a few more games. Tammy is knackered, we are woefully short of other striking options and we seem to have lost the swagger and purpose that we had before the international break. I reckon Saturday will be a frustrating 1-1 draw infront of our biggest crowd for more than a couple of decades. Still, keep the faith! We'll get there.

Think we'll just find a way past Blackburn, 2-1 win having gone behind... and not just because I predicted it in the championship game.

This is the first game I've been too since we played Middlesbrough in 2011. We lost 1-0 and my overriding memory is of the McGivern we had being awfully slow. Here's the full team http://www.11v11.com/matches/bristol-city-v-middlesbrough-03-december-2011-296115/

Hoping for a better performance and looking forward to seeing the new ground.... Also looking forward to chatting pure shit on here after.

Who would think we'd have a £25m player on the bench that day.

Part timer. ;)

Now we're on the up again I thought I'd show up. ;) My nephews waving a flag before the game so I've got a cheap ticket.

Luke nah I stopped going regularly when I was 20 and my Dad stopped going. I was working every other weekend and found it hard to justify over £20 for a ticket so got out of the habit which would have been unthinkable a couple of years before. Kept up to date but can't really claim to be a proper fan these days. Looking forward to checking it out though. :)

Despite being the biggest home crowd in however long, don't be surprised if it's the quietest you've ever heard the Gate.

3-1. Bounce back convincingly and we'll be back to going up again all of a sudden

C'mon Rovers!!! I'm surprised the volume of Bristol City fans there are on this forum. Hopefully we can shit on your day and make it a win for Rovers. I'm standing by 2-1 to you lot. We'll take the lead with Emnes. Tomlin and Abraham for you to reply.

Much better second half where we played with more tempo and pressed them better.

We had a couple of shots blocked that looked like they were going in, so only fair we got a deflection to go our way.

This is the 3rd time I've seen Blackburn this season and this was their best performance for me. One of those games which the struggling team seem to lose.

My stream was shite but god that was a dull dull game. Cant see it tempting many of todays newcomers back but who knows, maybe Wilbs last ditch goal will make them catch the bug!

Back in the playoff positions and we havent even played well at all this season (Fulham and second half vs Villa apart) u reds.

Fucking hell, that was SHITE.

Dull game of football, we looked poor as we have in the last three games and Blackburn weren't any better, though they'd have been happy with a point.

You'll be alright roversfan2001, there will be three worse sides than you come the end of the season.

Am I right that's the main game on the Channel 5 show  Good luck to anyone watching that shit. That was awful. You'd normally go mad with a last minute winner but I barely got of my seat.

Currently in 6th, god knows how as we haven't played well in a month. Best to enjoy it while it lasts, as it won't last long playing like that

Really really shit first half which Blackburn probably edged.
Much better second half, but still nowhere near what we have shown we can do (second halves against Wigan and Villa, Fulham game.)
Referee was absolutely terrible. Poor for both sides, but how he booked Flint for the dive by the Blackburn player in the first half was beyond me. Was a clear gap between the players, and the bloke jumps about 4 foot in the air before falling to the ground.

Picking up points when playing badly is the sign of a good team. Having 23 points before the end of October is impressive given we can't put 90 minutes together.

Well you picked a great game for it

Thought that was hard on Blackburn, especially with the deflection, but they earned up enough bad karma throughout throwing themselves on the floor all over the place so screw em.

Haven't played well at all the last 4 but hopefully it just proves a bad patch and we can keep ourselves there or thereabouts by nabbing wins like that. Tight margins in this league, lot of inconsistent sides.

Another word on the ref.
WTF was the fiasco with the goal kick and sub all about.
He look to the touchline and saw the lino signalling for a sub, then waited 20 odd seconds and signalled to the goalkeeper to take the goal kick. Then once in play

Reflecting back on this a few hours, a shite, scrappy victory but if you look at the teams you'd expect to be in and around us, they all did/have been doing the same.

Huddersfield, Wednesday, Brighton, Reading and Villa all won 1-0, and most of these sides are all built on solid bases.

Lots of the goals we've conceded have been through individual mistakes which are frustrating, but we're far better this year as a unit this year than we were last.
