Another massive game for us at the foot of the table.

Bolton seem to have been cut adrift, but as Charlton have shown a couple of decent results and you give yourselves a slight glimmer of hope.

Hoping we can kick on from last weeks antics at Fulham and carry on where we left off in the second half as quite frankly the first 45 sounded woeful.

I'd bring Odemwingie in and stick Bryan back out on the left in a 4-4-2 diamond, Pack sitting and Tomlin spearheading it in behind.

RoD
Matthews - Flint - Baker - Golbourne
Pack
Freeman - Bryan
Tomlin
Odemwingie - Kodjia
A vital 2-0 City win, Freeman and Kodjia with the goals either side of HT.

Would be my team. Have a bad feeling on this one, a win would put us in such a healthy position which can only mean one thing. 0-1 Bolton.

I've just come from the future and Bolton win 1-0 through a 68th minute Zach Clough goal.

Worst home form in the league vs worst away form... battle of the tards if you will.

One things for sure, its gonna be an utter shit fest.... if we can **** a 1-0 win i'd be over the moon but the fact Bolton haven't won away from home yet has given me a horrible sense of dread.

Wow. Nothing else needs be said.

Possibly the first time we had 6 different scorers in one game? 11-0 over Chichester only have 5 scorers.

Didn't come on mate, gutless little fuck.

That was an absolute rout, they were the most pathetic, spineless, gutless team I've ever seen down here in this division. They completely packed it in after the third. I pity their superb travelling fans.

Tomlin and Odemwingie were unbelievable, to think we scored something like 3 in 21 from open play earlier in the season in contrast with scoring 6 from open play today is ridiculous. That creative spark we needed to boost our survival hopes we've found with these two, their end product is top class.

Bobby Reid and Joe Bryan were superb in the middle, and Matthews was proper solid.

Fantastic day, we should be alright now.

Quite a decent range of chants: "Zach Clough, what's the score?", "Does your Daddy know you're ere?", "Going down and you're on the bench" All good fun.

Disappointed they didn't bring him on at the end just for the lolz

Yeah Bolton were properly awful. Bryan's goal was reminiscent of Doyle's for Wolves that time, just ran through the middle of the entire team. Even from the start, the first 2 were so easy, one 50-50 challenge and we're in.

Big thing was we were so clinical, first time you could say that about us all season. Probably had more chances when we lost 1-0 to Charlton but we were ruthless today. And pleasing that rather than get to 3 and take our foot off as usually would happen we really put them to the sword. Always nice to hand out a real thumping!

First time since Joe Bryan was born, so says twitter. Talking of stats, must be our biggest win at this level for some time. We've dished out some hammerings in the division below, but in the 2nd tier?

What's the beef with Clough lads?

I'm sure it's been mentioned on here but it's probably buried in one of the many threads about your club :hypo:

Oh to sign Tomlin and Odemwingie. So calm and composed on the ball with that extra quality to create.

Gotta feel for the Bolton fans, that was a disgraceful performance.

First time we've scored more than 2 all season! Cracking performance, our lads were taking the piss throughout with that passing. Funny watching Bolton's thugs at the back resort to wiping out Tomlin at every possible opportunity.

I'd say Bolton were up there with Charlton (also this season) as the worst team I've seen at Ashton Gate across the years I've watched us in the Championship. Should've beat Charlton 6-0 as well but today highlights what happens if you have that bit of quality. Tomlin and Odemwingie clinically put us 2 and 3 ahead and from then it was an easy demolition job. We were missing that cutting edge massively earlier in the season. If we'd have played that game in December/early Jan we'd have been hanging on for a 1-0.

Everyone was on it today but have to highlight another brilliant game for Bobby Reid. Too small/lightweight my arse. Hope you all appreciated his crunching standing 50/50 that put 6 foot+ Pratley to shame. Well done lad.

Turned us down, don't have a problem with that, think people have taken an exception to him saying him and his dad laughed at the fact we wanted him, yet he still strung the club along for the best part of a week.

Fair play to those who did turn up, hell of a journey, especially with the club in the state it is
