Generation Game was one of my favourite programmes growing up.

Certainly had a long and successful career!

Awwwww.... so sad. I liked Brucie. I only really ever saw him as the compere to Strictly Come Dancing but of course, he was a great all-round trouper who had a very long career and it's a shame that he couldn't have enjoyed a longer retirement that was clearly deserved.

He was a lovely gentleman and will be sadly missed.

One of the genuine great entertainers, the like of which we will never see again. A proper variety artist, I grew up from the early 70's with him on Saturday and Sunday telly. Love him or hate him, it cannot be questioned he was the best at what he did.
