Do you support a team from the South-West (besides Cheltenham)?
Are you currently unhappy with your manager?
Have you been calling for your manager to be sacked?

Well I would probably cool your protests for a while if I were you. At least until any risk of your manager being replaced by Paul Buckle has passed.

If Buckle goes, would Edwards go too?

Hopefully he'll stay, I had a little flutter on Cheltenham to be relegated at 9/1 a few weeks back :£

Any human that signs Mathieu Manset for a league 2 relegation battle, needs their heads testing.

I looked on the Cheltenham forum to see what they thought about his debut. Some of them were saying 'when he's fit he'll be much better'. Little do they know he never gets fit. Not sure if that is just his peak fitness or whether he can't be arsed, but that really is as good as it gets for him.

He is a simple case of - stroppy Frenchman who did well for a while, got paid well and played for a relatively high profile club. Got soft on it, took it for granted and can't motivate himself to get back to those levels. 4 terminated contracts in a row, stuck on the bench for league 2 relegation battlers. Shame because there is something there, but we will never see it again, ever. He's finished. Awfully slow donkey, with a pathetic attitude and work ethic.

I was shocked when you signed him to be honest. Thought that he was at best middle league 2 standard, and now he has proven himself to be much worse than that. Given the right work ethic alongside a good few months of training I think he could do well again but it's clear that this is never going to happen. He'll inevitably be released by Cheltenham when they too realise that he is a useless lump, but unfortunately we'll probably see his name pop up in league 2 again some time soon.

Gregory Abbott did a couple of years ago. In fairness he had a few decent games for us.

I thought Manset would kick on after his spell at Hereford, where he looked way above L2. Him and Fleetwood were a very good partnership.

Thank goodness we have a brilliant chairman, Buckle applied for the job at Albion, Err Paul 1 2 Buckle my shoe or Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink ? No brainer ! I would prefer no manager at all if it was a choice of him and no one else.
Are there any supporters of a club he has managed who have got a good word for him ?
Steady now, I can think of plenty !

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Well that adds yet another twist to this ridiculous rollercoaster.

this is looking like one of the best, but clearly for most of us worst relegation battles L2 has seen.

although has too much damage been done in them 80 odd days at Cheltenham............we'll have to see.

Get Ian Atkins in cheltenham.......a relegation battle of this size needs Atkins involved.

No surprise. Interesting that neither CTFC or Buckle will be making further comment, though

Matheius problem is HIMSELF, couple of years back we offered him non-contract terms, he should of accepted it and got his career back on track. He looked a million dollars for us before he moved to Reading.

As for buckle, not shocked at all. he really has done shite.

Big appointment now, if they choose the wrong one, they'll go out the league.

No surprise to see him gone already, Cheltenham are in big shit and his rushed signings in the window don't look much good.

If a team's shocking enough then a honeymoon period probably won't even happen. Hopefully their new manager does a Malky Mackay, which would mean there's essentially one relegation spot left. Still see Cheltenham and Hartlepool going down barring a dramatic change in form.

Just as we're due to bloody play them!

Wouldn't be surprised to so Flitcroft get tactically outwitted by a caretaker manager.

Hard to see what is next for Buckle. House husband perhaps.
