Burnley gone off the boil somewhat lately?

Despite of that, can't see Charlton doing too much up there. Burnley looked alright when they played us, quite solid at the back and a wealth of attacking options. Hoping for a Burnley win here, just to take some pressure off us, and I think they'll deliver.

2-1.

We've been on a bad run, but we've had some tough games. Hopefully this is a chance to get back on track.

I did say that about the Preston game, but the less said about that the better.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Karel Fraeye:

Fraeye pointed out that Charlton have played better teams during his nine games in charge and thanked the fans for their support today.

He added: “To be fair, we had to play away at Middlesbrough, Burnley and a home game against Ipswich and I’m forgetting teams from the other games.

He doesn't even know who we've played but not to worry, he knows what the problem is and he's sticking to his guns:

We go down 1-0 before half-time at the worst moment and then we try to get them good out of the changing room and we concede a second and third one just like that. It’s game over.

It's a mental thing, that's for sure

You can’t name one player who didn’t work his socks off. The mentality is good.

I have real confidence in this man.

This game came at the right time for us. Our front players really needed to find their goal scoring touch again and fortunately Charlton were happy to help us out.
