Nice local one for me living in the NQ so looking forward to this one - usually a decent day out I quite like going to Bury. No hopes or expectations with the football but we were much ebtter last week in the 2nd half so hopefully we can carry on from there.

Bury seem to be flying and Clarke will probably score against us, think I was one of a few town fans who really rated him at our place in a truly shite side at the time he seemed to score almost every week.

Pope also seems to score against us a lot so on that note i'll plump for 2-1 Bury and about 450 frozen town fans in away end.

5 defeats in the last 7, lost to a Scunthorpe side who had lost 4 on the bounce and followed up their win at giggle lane with a 0-4 defeat. Chesterfield 4 league defeats on the bounce and lost 0-3 and 0-4 in their last two league games (unless I am mistaken). This is only going to end one way, home defeat.

Bury 1-2 Chesterfield

But we could draw, or you might win.

I think we might get something out of this.

I've not ruled out jumping in the car and taking the kids (home end mind as loads cheaper with two kids).

What sights are there around Bury that little ones would like?

We're wank. Time for a proper manager me thinks before we are in the relegation zone.

Fuck. We're actually going down aren't we. All our wages are invested in old crocks. That side we had out today was embarrassing.

We got our tactics right. By far the superior team without the scoreline to prove it, it was always a tight game and following the goal we completed our subs and kept players back. Looked very tired on a heavy pitch and the game probably should have been abandoned. Impressed in the spirit and quality given the conditions.

5 league defeats in a row now. We must surely be approaching a record.

Anyone have any idea?

Nine league defeats consecutively is the CFC record to beat.

Need to get a manager in ASAP. Smith isn't the long term answer so with every game that goes by without an appointment, it only makes an already tough job that little bit tougher.

Then again, had better decisions been made in the summer, there's a fair chance we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.

And just a mention of Barrie Hubbard, sad to hear the news this morning. I'm not gonna lie, i probably slagged him off numerous times in the past but there's no doubt he always tried to do his best for the club and without his efforts, we'd probably still be playing at Saltergate. Rest in peace.
