Got a bad feeling about this one, something's nagging away at me, I think it's Leon Clarke.

2-1. Clarke (2), Obika for Town.

Prove me wrong lads!

Yep, I can see Leon scoring in front of the town fans and standing in front of them, cupping his ears. It may even happen twice.

2-0 bury.

Emotional day as we pay our final respects to Nev. sadly I can't make but I'm sure we'll give him a great send off. For the game we normally start off slow in the season at home. Would be nice to see us build on the last two results but I have s feeling we're gonna have a setback.

Bury 1-2 Swindon

Excuse my huge ignorance but who is Nev?

Neville Neville, was reading about him the other day. Bit of a legend up there. Raised something like 150K when Bury were in the doo doo financially.

Ah ok. That's Gary and Phil's dad right?

I hope he gets a good send off and our fans play their part also.

Without doubt we would be looking for something else to do on Saturday afternoons if it hadn't been for his input.
Could be best described as our Saviour , without exaggeration.
Father of Gary, Phil and Tracey ( she is England netball supremo)
His wife Jill is ( was? ) Bury FC club secretary for 20+ years too.
Connections too with Lancashire CCC, and generally respected in North West sporting circles.
RIP

Good point, all things considered. We really need to stop gifting teams goals and head starts, though.

Sounded shocking. Happily take the draw but we need to getting our mentality right asap. Won't keep getting ourselves back into games.

Vale Tuesday...no stupid mistakes would be awesome!

Funny old game. Dave Hockaday on the radio was saying the second Bury goal was a foul, and if the game went on another 5 minutes we'd have won. But Bury fans don't get upset: he was also saying Bury should have buried (sorry!) the game in the first half and never given us the opportunity to get back in it.

So it's positive we could turn it around for a second league game in a row, now we just need to string two good halves together. And four points from two games with the new players still bedding in is also good.

But Bury will be cursing their profligacy in front of goal in the first half; they'll rightly see this as two lost points I guess.

From twitter feed it sounded like daylight robbery. Just shows if you don't put away chances when well on top it can come back to bite you.

Good spirit to fight back for a draw but we need to start games better. Also helps that teams can't score penalties against us either!

Sounded like a good game. However I feel Flicker needs to learn from this and learn quickly. Pope and Mayor off at the same time?? Strange
