Any Bury fans give any advice on the best way to get to the game via train? I'm travelling from Chester so would I be correct In thinking from Picadilly station you can get a tram to Bury?

As to the game itself... Burys form seems to have dropped off over the last few months. If automatic promotion is to be achieved for us we really need to be winning these games and building on a battling point at Coventry midweek. I'd be tempted to drop one of either Evans or mantom in favour of bringing in another "flair/technical player in either Morris or Forde. I have a feeling though Odriscoll won't do this and will play a narrow midfield again.
Was impressed with Danny mayor when you beat us at home and Leon Clarke always causes us problems!

The reason the form has dropped off is because our team has become absolutely crippled. A few long term injury plaers are just coming back but typical that our CB Peter Clarke is now injured.

I'd check for pitch inspections before you leave. Bury and Dale have had games off recently and it's going to freeze tonight.

3 away games in a week, another one I'd take a point from and then look to Blackpool at home next Saturday.

Sunshine for most of the day and covers on the pitch until midday when the sun will be out it should be right. Temp dropped below freezing last night and the grass near my house was not hard this morning.

On the pitch the idiot will probably start Pugh instead of the injured Jones (sex pest claims Jones is out) and stick with five in midfield. Clarke will cut a lonely figure as the ball is hoofed up for him to head off for a goal kick. Pope and Rose will continue to wonder what they need to do to get a start.
Wallsall will score two second half goals to comfortably see us off. DF will claim that despite us having no shots on goal it was an entertaining game that we were unlucky to lose.

Cant see anything other than an away win. Bury's stagnation continues after losing 5 out of the last 6. What happened to the Bury team that started the season well?

If its not frozen it'll be waterlogged!

If the game does go ahead I fancy sneaking a tight 2-1 victory here. Bury have had a big dip in form and our style of play seems to suit us in away games.

Not really a problem with the pitch bar it being frozen. Only one match called off this season on Boxing day after 48 hours of torrential rain (even then it was flooding in surrounding areas which was more of a concern). A few weeks before the game v Chessie went ahead despite most other North West games being postponed that weekend.

It's no coincidence that this turnaround began when Danny Rose was brought on.

delighted with that result, 3-0 up at half time and we were cruising, credit to Bury for the second half revival.

Ended the first half thinking it was going to be 4, 5 or 6 to us. Absolutely cruising.

Second half was like we thought we'd won already and was lucky to come out with all 3 points.

Brilliant 3 points though.
