We were pretty abject again for most of the game, but do not write us off yet. We won't be this bad until the end of the season. It will click again, I am certain. Still in a good position despite our extremely tough run in.

There's no doubt at all Luton are a stronger side than us, but fwiw, Bury completely dominated the first half when we played them at theirs. Scored two goals then sat back. I've since heard that it's the way they play at home, tear into their opponents from the first minute. So I would not say it was only because Luton were poor, but give credit where's it's due.

Judge - You're not in top form but I still think Wycombe won't get automatic promotion. I'm also not too sure on Burton, they've lost their last two games and failed to score in either one of those (away at Accrington and home to Newport) The only current top 3 side that I don't have any doubts at all about are Shrewsbury.

Agreed that it is still wide open for the top 3. But it's now 3 from 5 at least, and in our current patch of form we are looking over our shoulders a bit as much as at the ones above us.

Our March is pretty horrible to be honest, could easily be a make or break month and looking at our fixtures I'm sure a few of the ones beneath us will fancy gaining ground on us. We desperately need a confidence-boosting win at home to Morecambe on Saturday because after that it's

(A) Portsmouth
(A) Newport
(H) Wycombe
(A) Northampton

How are we still fourth? League 2 is rubbish.

Not totally bothered about getting promoted this season - its about getting the groundwork, the infrastructure, the foundation in place on the field. I don't think any team in this division, bar perhaps Shrewsbury have any longevity in their current side. At least 1-2 of the promoted teams this season will come straight back down the following.
