21st AprilWhen is the game scheduled to be played?
The rain was torrential to be fair, not many pitches would have coped. Rochdale was the same but their official just persevered, Hyde's game was abandonned (Man City Youth pitch), Burys youth game at Carrington was postponed and Burtons pitch on Monday had lots of standing waster too.Doubt too many Southend fans will make the journey up on a Tuesday night.
Have to pay for transport again, and most will likely have to take a day off work/school.
Obviously it's a great offer for home fans and should see an increased attendance, but have to feel for the Southend fans making the trip.
Bury can't be blamed, although an improved pitch could help...
Our FA Cup game at Bournemouth was postponed very late in the day last season. Albion fans had already arrived. Bournemouth had achieved promotion a couple of seasons earlier at the Pirelli and remembered how well our club and supporters had treated them, Bournemouth supporters raised enough funds amongst themselves to pay for the coaches for the Albion fans to attend the rearranged game. An outstanding gesture ! I always look out for there results nowadays and hope they get promoted to the Premier league this season, particularly if its at the expense of that team who interfere with sheep just up the A38.
Joint cheapest...AND we offer the cheapest tickets in the league too... So were hardly being unkind
15 notes to get in at Albion, how much at Bury and Tranmere ? I should know but can't remember what I paid at Gigg lane !Joint cheapest...
