Van Gaal has come out and said that the 4-4-2 diamond formation leads to him "twitching his ass" but as Smalling and Evans are out injured (again) he may be forced into using it in this game.

Really Looking forward to this one! I think this is going to be closer than many think. Cambridge are a decent outfit and we arent exactly free scoring. Also this is one of the very few grounds that Alfreton can say they have a better record at then United! Having won 6-3,3-0 and 1-0 on their 3 visits! Can United pick up their first win at the Abbey?

Gonna say 2-1 to Manchester United.

If he does, you will tonk them.

If he doesn't, you'll looks shakey and scrape a 2-0 again a la Yeovil

Falcao to start again? He just needs a run of games to start finding the goals.

Looking forward to tonight, hopefully we can give a good account of ourselves, the pitch will help Man U out, it's not going to be the best they've played on but it ain't no field mill either, should suit their passing game anyway.

KTF.

Both BBC Games so far on a friday night have been a smaller club knocking out a bigger club. Warrington and then, Blyth hopefully this will continue tonight.

I feel indifferent to this match.

Normally its nice to support the underdogs, especially against United.

However, it would be reasonably funny to see a score pushing double figures.

I think this'll be similar to the Yeovil match. The ball will be in the air and bobbling for the majority of the game and we'll struggle to get a command of the play. A scrappy, boring affair. 1-2.

United will win by at least four.

I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than watch it.

Cambridge to be ahead... Briefly, before United get 3 to make it 3-1.

By the way, good to see you back in the Sheep game! Were you missing from the last few seasons or am I being completely stupid?!

No you are quite correct, I'm back with a vengeance now though!

Will in be 352 with Carrick in defence or not though that is the question?

I'd be surprised if the BBC got their formation right.

We are currently 4 goals better than tiny Cambridge United.

Great atmosphere. Hopefully Luke Chadwick gets on, be good to see him do well as he served us well for years.
