Im traveling down for this one so there will be at least one away fan!
Our last two games have both been played in very heavy rain although we seemed to adapt ok to the conditions. We're still playing very well at the moment so Im confident going into the match although Im aware of the new manager syndrome which I hope doesn't affect us!

Weather forecast for 3 p.m. tomorrow looks really promising, if a bit chilly.

I can think of plenty of teams that I'd rather be playing at this point (Morecambe would probably be even higher on the list). It will be my first home match since Satanage in September, when we were actually quite good - although I'd rather not wait until the 97th minute this time. I'm not sure how many of that team will start tomorrow - probably only 5 or 6.

I expect all 3 of the loanees to feature and would love to see Ledson start. More likely it'll be a strong bench with a starting line up something like:

Dunn
Taylor
Legge
Kennedy
Demetriou
Donaldson
Newton
Berry
Dunk
Williamson
Corr

But what do I know. 3-1 to the U's please. New manager bounce might get the gate towards 5,000 again - say 4728 with 172 from deepest East Lancs.

Shit fred title.

Anyway, the usual Accrington win, Ledson will be described as "too good but a bit soft" at least five times this evening. Dunn will be executed on Sunday morning on Midsummer Common. Derry will get stuck in traffic trying to cross the QEII bridge on the way home. Jez will remain trusted and Gaffney's stock will continue to rise with a brief cameo, delivering at least one good cross.

Attendance - Largely annoyed at always getting done by "an Accrington". Speaking of shit accas, I'm off the bookies. May the worse team win.

We can't defend and have a keeper prone to making at least one mistake per game which leads to a goal or clear opportunity. Handful of different players and a different manager but the same problems exist.

Hate football, never reffed it, hate it.....

Yep, its a given with Dunn, but it's clear he's better than Beasant otherwise Derry wouldn't keep picking him, just like Money did before him. Still, the biggest problem is not him but how the players alternate between the first and second halves. They put in a decent shift in the first, just like they usually do, but collapsed once again in the second.

Tbf, I think Stanley are a decent side, but still, I would've thought we should have been able to see the result out, or at least get a point, when considering we were 2-1 up at ht.

A frustrating and ultimately disappointing afternoon, but I think there have been small signs of improvement in the last 2 games, and hopefully Derry is as ruthless in clearing out the rubbish during this week (Tuesday may be too soon) as he was last week.

I think 99% of our fanbase are agreed on Chris Dunn now, his time is up, far too many stupid mistakes. Had an outstanding first half of last season for us but since the Man Utd games has been largely a liability. Beasant isn't the answer, but if getting someone in on loan isn't an option than he deserves his shot for the rest of the calendar year.

Thought Taylor was superb at right back yet again, I assume it was an injury that forced him off, sadly I suspect Mr Dunne told Derry that Newton can play right back based on the few times he played there for us under Money, but hopefully it will be the last time, an unmitigated disaster. His inability to take on a man on the wing when he gets forward shows us as well, he's a central midfielder, and nothing else. Thought Legge did reasonably well as usual and was impressed with Kennedy, won pretty much everything, maybe just needs to improve his distribution a bit though, but would stick with that pairing on Tuesday. Couple of iffy moments for Demetriou but solid overall.

Donaldson was better than usual but that's not saying much, I'd rather see Gaffney given a go on the wing seeing as he apparently played there in Ireland. I don't think Berry played that well actually and that the goal disguised that a little bit, but I think he will benefit more from having someone like Ledson alongside him than either of the Hughes'. As for Ledson, an incredible first 15 minutes, bit quiet after that though, surprised he got MOTM, a few too many hollywood balls attempted for my liking (none of which were successful). Dunk was outstanding, as per usual, best player in an amber shirt by a country mile yet again.

Corr took his goal well and I thought Williamson looked quick and lively, the only worry is that he lived up to his reputation of not having any end product, but I'd much rather see him than Slew, who for some reason seems to be still getting game time.

Accrington were one of the best teams we've played this season, I'd find it hard to largely disagree with anyone who thought they were the best we've faced, Windass and that number 7 were really, really good, certainly not like Accrington teams of years gone by, fast and tricky, can see them staying up there, but we have absolutely giftwrapped them two goals.

The referee post Accrington's winner was an absolute disgrace, I sure as hell hope someone was assessing him as that should ensure we never see him again.

Only gripes with Derry yesterday (assuming Taylor was injured) were regarding the subs, waited far too long into the second half to make the second, and then it was Slew when it should've been Gaffney, and then never made the third one at all. I don't think we were great first half but it was still pretty good, the concern again is we've not performed in the second half and the keeper has only had to make one save, that has got to improve and soon.

Need to try and bounce back Tuesday in what is a winnable game, assuming no fresh injuries then I'd definitely swap the keepers and like to see Gaffney for Donaldson, but could tolerate him keeping the outfield 10 the same.

Although I agree with most of Tom's summary, for me, the second half performance was as much down to a good Accrington team and John Coleman recognising that the Berry/Ledson partnership was the key to our first half dominance and adjusting. That said, the 2 soft goals in 5 mins knocked the stuffing out of us.

We were excellent front to back first half, as was the Accrington goal. Accrington then took our two second half gifts before playing as effectively as any that I've seen this season. It certainly was as good an Accrington team as I've seen with a bit of quality and steel throughout. Even the keeper had improved since his Dunn-like mare against us for York.

Donaldson had a good game and I can't see Derry dropping him - more likely a swop with Williamson for Gaffney on Tuesday. I'd rather have seen Gaffney than Slew at the death but he could/should have brought them both on earlier as Donaldson, Williamson and Ledson faded (or were well shackled) towards the end.

I'm expecting a Beasant start on Tuesday - when I'll be braving the elements in search Derry's first win. It is doable but there are more likely places for it to happen that the Globe Arena. Saturday and County will be the big one. It could be a long and uncomfortable end to 2015
