Yes I could see Donaldson's goal was deflected, I was right behind his shot.

I agree it was a game with plenty of attacking, but I don't think it had much quality in it. But there you go, doesn't really matter.

Can someone talk me through that Mansfield away kit? Horrendous.

Low quality but relatively entertaining game with the right result at the end of it. We weren't playing well up until their goal, another howler from one of the two we have masquerading as goalkeepers, but responded well after that and probably deserved a goal for the period of play between Mansfield's goal and half time, albeit with a slice of luck in the manner it came. 2nd half we had more of the ball but couldn't really sustain 4 or 5 minutes or pressure and didn't create a whole lot, whereas Mansfield seemed to settle fairly early for a draw but ended up having the better chances to win the game.

Despite it working when we made the change at half time against Notts County, I'm not entirely convinced that we're at our best with 4 in midfield and playing all 3 of Newton, Berry and Ledson (although it may only be a problem until January 2nd), it's quite a Richard Money thing to do actually, they've been far better playing in a central midfield 3, but that means not playing one of the strikers. If we keep both Williamson and Ledson it'll be interesting to see if a) we persist with it, and b) if it improves, but none of them are suited to playing out wide.

Taylor outstanding, Legge very good, Roberts very good defensively but his distribution was dire. Gayle was getting torn a new one by Green and even if it was injury related, I'm not particularly bothered about us keeping him. Dunk brilliant yet again, Donaldson looking much more like his old self and the midfield 3 all had their moments. Williamson energetic again but probably should have had a goal first half, and Corr had a very quiet day by and large, especially second half. Disappointed we didn't bring on at least 1 more sub which seems to be a bit of recurring theme.

Tricky conditions though and a well organised Mansfield team so happy with a point overall, got to be looking at a good return from the next 4 games, a couple of home wins would be nice as well as our record still isn't great.

Bit annoying that we conceded another goal, doesn't seen to be falling for us right now upfront but not really for us in defence either, didn't go so only saw the highlights. Would have taken the draw though so happy with that

Well we needed a 3rd kit and it's a new version of the very first kit we had. I like it actually, Pleases me that One Call isn't plastered on the front.

Ryan fucking Donaldson, I made him what he was on one of the old versions of Football Manager and he goes and does that. Where's the loyalty.

That goal we conceded looks worse and worse every time we see it. We need two new keepers in January and these two need to be nowhere near our club. We'd be on the edge of the play offs if it wasn't for the points dropped by those two.

The trip down was fine but the North West seems to be having a monsoon season.

The match was much as expected - except that Mansfield seemed better organised, more assured and clear on how to get a result than I've seen from them for a while. They worked hard and dealt well (sometimes robustly) with our midfield threat, as well as coping with Corr's ability to win most of his headers. A draw seemed a fair result - both teams had chances for a win but Beasant's "save" at the end from the pile-driver was welcome.

That was my last match for 2015 and I hope that we'll have a new keeper for Wimbledon at the Abbey. I'm not sure that Stephen Bywater, returning from the sub-continent, is the answer but at the moment I'd be happy to bring Lance Key out of retirement for a short term fix.

We definitely need a new keeper. Skip to 2:10 and look at the Mansfield goal. No deflection and why didn't we form a proper wall, as soon as the freekick was given you could tell he was going to shoot.

Pathetic. And last night I said I didn't think he was at fault as it was deflected, as that was how it looked at the time.

Give me a flapping keeper any time over this buffoon.

The thing is Vanni, that choosing between these goons is is like choosing who is gonna shag your wife.

Up the 'arris, and give her a Dirty Sanchez. And finish on her tits.

And frankly, that's still not ideal.
