I feel this is a game we should be winning, and I hope we do get the 3pts, but I wouldn't be greatly surprised if we lost again.

Most importantly, this game spells the return of Carver v Mowgli. Carver will certainly be looking for revenge following the return fixture, but does he have it in him?

Fuck off Mowgil, are you coming up here then? If so then how about a meet with me and the lads? Not that you'd want to because I'm sure you'd be pissing your pissy pants if you saw me face to face.

As for the match I almost forgot that Wycombe were dirty cheating bastards with Hayes being the worst getting our man sent off, well we've leaned since then not to be so fucking soft against teams like Wycombe so no way will we fall victim to that again. I think we'll win this match and win it well.

Easy on the abuse please lads, it's something that we don't want to be seeing on the forum.

As you wish.

It was a bit strong wasn't it, I'm sorry about that as I come from a rough background and he did start it.

Next time I'll just tell the gentleman to learn some manners, I'm sure that will make him sorry and put him into guilt mode. :ohy:

image.jpeg Pretty much...

I thought we were the better side in both sides, but again missed so many chances. Hope is hopeless in front of goal.

I'm bored of all these draws.

Well this match thread has been as uneventful as the match itself. Still... Who wears a green blazer and waistcoat combo with a beige shirt and purple trousers?

I thought it was a good match. Plenty of chances created.

Harsh red card though. I guess it kind of makes up for the shocking red decision that we got in the reverse fixture.

Red card looked justified from the angle I saw it. You seen it on the telly yet? Looked quite high.

Hope's not the best finisher at the club, but he still had a very good game I thought, created a lot down that left hand side and then popped up on the right to put in a killer cross after working hard to keep the ball.

If Hope could finish he would be in League 1 at least. That header... wow.

I thought red at the timr, but having seen it on tv, very harsh. Both players went in for the tackle, 50:50

some classic L2 finishing from Carlisle, having seen the highlights (and a poor penalty from us). The view of the tackle isn't good enough to see whether the red was justified or not but it did look a tad reckless.

I didn't even see the foul for the red card, and I was initially annoyed it was pulled back as Asamoah had been put through.

The defending for Wycombe's goal was very poor, as it was in the build-up to the penalty (which I thought was the correct decision), though Gillespie made a good save.

I thought it was a decent game, but we should've killed them off in the first half. Big chances were constantly squandered, Hope being the biggest culprit on numerous occasions.

Forgot about asamoah being released before the red but yeah, you're right. Notice the Wycombe match report expresses surprise that no card was shown to Gillespie for the penalty, well it wasn't a dangerous challenge and the ball was long gone when the challenge was made, that's why.
