Pedro has to come on soon. Joyce on to get a bit more control of the game then the unknown Pedro on the wings to terrify the full back.

Nah that would be too exciting for us.

I can see Rovers doing enough to get the winner.

I think Rovers will win too to be honest. Hope I'm wrong and Jabo can grab a winner.

Our season is practically over now but I would like us to win as many games as we can to take some momentum into next season.

Not sure how he hit it but it sort of chipped but didn't stop rising. Excellent hit and great composure to try the shot instead of running it a bit longer.

Good to see you again JJH. Long time no see ;)
Evening mate, long time no speak ;)

I won't be a cock about it, the Gasheads on here are a very likeable bunch (believe it or not). Nowhere near over yet as well, they're still in with a fanastic chance.

Yep, their fans on this forum are great, no complaints from me. Still think they'll go up automatically.

Brilliant win against an in form team.

Shite defending for their 2 goals and our second goal, but our first and third were beautiful.

A draw would have been fair, but a massive 3 points for us.

We very rarely concede three goals, no doubt we need Lockyer back. Bloody Wales u21's!

Anyway, run was always going to finish sooner or later. We've put ourselves in with a chance, that's what matters. We need to get back to winning ways ASAP, but there is still a lot to play for!

Oh well, had a feeling our 2nd game within a few days at the other end of the country without 5 players (3 key players) was going to take it's toll.
I know we have won the previous 6 but why tinker with the team all the time?? DC should know his best team now so play it in the right formation and let the opposition worry about us.
I fancy our run-in more than a lot of our rivals at the top so let hope it was a rare off day

Great win against the form team in the league. I missed the first 15 minutes, and it sounded like a solid start. Clarke's substitutions had a positive impact, but they barely threatened our goal until the typical fuck-up. It was an even game from then on, with both sides conceding sloppy goals.

I thought Joyce's introduction showed a lack of ambition, Stacey was one our better players and he's so negative on the ball. Pedro didn't have much of an impact but he had to pick the ball up so deep everytime. Our defence/midfield looked exhausted and Bristol Rovers began to control possession.
And then Kennedy - who I thought was shite today - popped up with a fantastic finish, with a great through ball from Miller I think.

I'm surprised Comley was given MOTM, I thought he was one of our worst players.

Stacey was blowing out of his arse after running his socks off for an hour. Rightfully subbed, likewise Grainger.

SkyBet have ended the match 2-2 as well. I had a bet on a Carlisle win but I've lost.

Bringing on Joyce to replace him though? I can't remember us creating many chances in that period before Jabo came on, and we offered very little for the remainder of the match. Wyke, Jabo and Pedro were isolated, the midfield was sat way too deep, but luckily one moment of magic was enough to win it.

I thought an extra midfielder was the right decision because we were losing control of the game completely at that point. I probably would have opted for Atkinson over Joyce though.

The guy behind me was pissing me off. I'd never seen (or rather heard/smelt) him at the ground before so either he normally stands elsewhere, or more likely, this was his first game of the season. Yet he was shouting abuse at our players throughout, more angry than anyone who attends one game per season has any right to be, and even had the cheek at some point to shout about the players having no respect for the fans who pay their wages (yeah, £19/year chap... you contribute loads). Then when Joyce was coming on he immediately started mouthing off at Joyce for being a useless c**t, and yet at full-time made a big show of applauding the players, even when Joyce was the only player down our end of the stadium at the time. Oh yeah and at one point he went and stood just in front of me to shout some abuse, but the most rotten thing to come out of him during the game picked just that moment to emerge from the other end... fucking hummed.

An enjoyable but frustrating game.

We started slowly and Carlisle deserved their early lead but the double substitution on 20 minutes changed the game and from that point on I thought we were the better team.

Took advantage of poor defending for the first but should have taken the lead right on half time when Gaffney went clean through but saw his shot saved by the keepers legs.

Despite conceding early in the second half with more shambolic defending we dominated for long periods and looked the more likely winners when Taylor equalised.

Easter saw his shot come back off the post and as we increased the pressure more half chances came and went before we through it away by letting one long pass split open our defence. Lovely finish though.

Even after that we came close to levelling it up at 3-3 on 2 or 3 occasions but a couple of great saves from the kepper secured the points for Carlisle.

I think given the balance of play and chances created we deserved at least a point if not all 3 but rank bad defending and 2 great finishes from Carlisle cost us.

With Orient and Wycombe dropping points it certainly brings Carlisle right back in the mix for a top 7 finish. Having seen all 3 I think they have a decent chance.
