Yeah, I saw that the other day. From Simon Hughes too who is well sourced too (used to work for the club not long ago). I don't think Gordon & Ayre want a character who might not bow to their every whim tbh.

This makes sense. Klopp is impassioned and his emotions are as transparent as crystal. He won't work anywhere he is expected to be subservient. There is also the question of how well the current Liverpool personnel fit his system. He is stubborn - there isn't adapting to the personnel, only the personnel buying into Klopp's man management and adapting to his system. I don't think he is a manager you hire mid-season - Ancelotti has experience in this (Milan & PSG).

True. Which doesn't bode well for a top class manager coming in, and therefore we won't improve. After all, what kind of manager will want to have his wings clipped by a couple of blokes who have shown they know next to fuck all about football?
