Looking forward to watching Juve v Monaco tomorrow night.
ASM have proved to be a very solid outfit this season and expect it to continue tomorrow.
Will be of course tough but think they're more than capable of getting a draw.

Madrid derby is one.
Don't fancy Atletico's chances this time. Usually they are brilliant in these sort of games and I think they are unbeaten against Real this season having knocked them out over two rounds in the Copa Del Rey, the league and Spanish Supercup. I just feel though that they don't look quite right at this time, and that Real are starting to get going once more. I hope I'm wrong and that Atletico can progress, but it looks a heck of an ask presently.

Just seen that Pogba is out injured. Shame that, was looking forward to seeing him and Kondogbia in the middle of the pitch!

It's not that much of a shame...

The more we're nearing to kick-off and the more I reckon this game will be gash. Juve aren't that good at creating chances and Monaco are solid at the back. Can't see more than a solitary goal in that one.

Of course Monaco fans will be happy but would have been good to see him up against GK. Oh well, always next leg!

David Luiz included in PSG group to play Barca. I thought he was out for 4 weeks?!

Real should be one up already through Bale.

The biggest myth in world football is that Ronaldo is good at free kicks.

It's not really much of a myth. Some stats on the best set piece takers (well set piece shooters really) had him something like 25th. I'll find the stat pic, might have been on sky sports recently too.

The commentator called him a bloody Free kick specialist. I almost chocked on my glass of milk.

The full 3 minute build up to every Ronaldo FK is pathetic. The way everyone acts you'd think it was Juninho Pernambucano lining up to take it, where there would actually be a chance of a goal occuring.

0-0 half time.
As expected Monaco sitting back soaking pressure and trying to catch Juventus on the break. But good half for ASM.
Martial looking lively. But feel Bernardo could come on and affect the game.

Ramos is an epic c***. But in fairness Mandzukic is most of the time too.

Full time.
Juventus 1-0 Monaco
Poor officiating means Monaco concede a penalty and lose. Probably a deserved loss but with all those officials on the pitch and they still can't get it right!

Game was a bit shit. Oh well, got a good chance of overturning the deficit next week. Mustn't concede any goals though...

There was an article about the quality of free kick takers in Europe and Bale has a better conversion rate than Ronaldo; but they have to feed his ego and let him take them all (most of them anyway). Not a team player.

Aye I like him a lot. He can be a bit hot-headed and do rash things occasionally, and also have a mindfart sometimes, but when he's on it, he really is superb.

I thought Godin and Varane stood out far more tbh.

But they didn't elbow or stamp on anyone to rile up their opponent, which is obviously a better defensive trait than y'know, actual defending.
