David Luiz is criminal. It's actually becoming suspicious how bad he is.

Bayern are just ridiculous on their day, totally killed off the tie in the first half...

PSG just never looked up for it.

Can't believe I thought Porto would qualify an hour ago. Bayern are ridiculous.

European football is starting to really bore me in all honesty. All the league's are a 1 horse race, The Champions League winners are always the same, and there is no drama. Copa Libertadores is the perfect cup and has everything I want in football. A high level, entertaining matches, different winners, and always an underdog. Europe only has a high level. Yes, last year was good with Atletico doing well but other than that, its just boring to me now. I'll probably still follow it but I won't get excited for the matches anymore. The Champions League can forget about me watching the semi-finals or tomorrows matches because I don't care anymore really.

Well fair to say Bayern have certainly reacted well to last week's criticism!

Mind you as they are German should we be that surprised?

Bayern have done a few times over the years...

Why does Gabriel Clarke insist on getting his mug in the shot at the start of his interviews?

Hmm
Well I wasn't expecting PSG to go through tonight but at least show some willingness and fight. It was just too casual and uninspiring.
Major work needs to go into this Paris team as majority aren't champions league level. VDW, Cabaye, Maxwell, Lavezzi notably.

To be fair to them the early goal that Barca scored killed them. I think that if Barca hadn't scored that early they would have given Barca a much better game.

No I don't think so. After the first goal, just turned into a training game. If they wanted to, go up another gear or two but decided not to.
Barca were in control of the game from start to finish.

Pathetic performance from PSG. They showed no fight and looked like they didn't care. Verratti is the only player who can come out with credit. Sensational footballer who plays like he was made for Barca.

That's more like it from Iniesta, wish that he would continue this form till the end of the season.

He can only do it in spurts these days I'm afraid, though he was playing pretty well earlier in the season till his brief injury kept him out recently. He used to be my absolute favourite player playing today; love the little guy! :D

Looking at the Bayern match again, there's no logical reason as to why the Porto keeper has let in goals no.2 and 4.

We were shite. Barca weren't really all that. Losing 5-1 on aggregate to them just goes to show how much work needs to be done to compete with the best in Europe.
Bayern will beat Barca no probs in the semis.

I feel lucky that I have watched him and Xavi during their prime, two of my favorite players in the world!

If PSG showed half the spirit and intensity as they did against Chelsea in the second leg, they could have always been in the game. Instead, they looked a team that had already accepted defeat. :lac: Where's the grit?

Bayern look shit hot when they're on it, watching them knock it around dissecting teams so often is like :eyes:

Bayern were very impressive. Literally killed the game in half an hour. I still think Barca can beat them. Neymar, Suarez and Messi are getting better together. Porto have already shown Bayern have a soft soft. That trio could do damage to Bayern.

Barca's biggest problem was that they were too reliant on Messi, safe to say that's not the case anymore. They will be very difficult to stop.

If Atletico go through i'd love to see them play Bayern, would be interesting to see if they can contain them. (And it would be a new tie at least)

Awesome stuff by Iniesta. Even at his age now the ball still sticks to his feet. One of the best midfielders in my lifetime.

Barca weren't even trying though, they still have gears to shift through and a potential meeting with Bayern could go either way as they don't look amazing this season tbh.

Come on Los Indios, get through against those fuckers tonight!

Yeah purely as a tactical exercise I think an Atletico v Bayern tie would be fascinating. Maybe not the most thrilling two matches, but it would be interesting thats for sure.
