Bayern had an amazing first half that seemed unimaginable Juventus having that reaction. It's a pity this confront happened so early. I wanted to see more of both teams in the competition.
Been a shite game in my opinion. I'm at least glad PSV have been the better of the sides (slightly) I don't have anything against Atletico but it would be nice to see an underdog win as any underdog are just going to get pushed aside against the big 3 of Europe in the quarters anyways.
I don't want to bring South America into every topic that is unrelated to it, but I just wanted to say that this Atletico Madrid side reminds me of Independiente Santa Fe from Colombia. They're both very defensive and both usually end games 0-0.
As I said, I want PSV to win this as while I do also like Atletico, I would like to see an underdog win as most of them seem to have very tough tasks in the second leg like Kyiv and Arsenal.
Atletico are always well drilled and organised and Simeone has got this side buzzing again after an iffy last season. Haven't watched PSV at all though this season but they do look impressive as well tbh. I thought Atletico would carve through them like a hot knife through butter, but the Dutch side look a threat themselves.
Great pens they were, though the keepers should've got to a couple of them. How bout Simeone there orchestrating the crowd once again, proper lege. Delighted that Atletico are through though it's very harsh on PSV.
