City clearly have the better team and the better manager so, according to logic, you'd expect City to get the win over a two-legged affair. On the other hand, City can't even fill their own stadium and Liverpool fans are at least passionate (amongst other things), so perhaps exuberance and passion will trump actual footballing ability in this one.

I hope Liverpool win.

Yes he is, quality inspecting them. Its important work, someone has to do it!

As for the game itself, I was more confident when the draw was made; but without Can (who despite Pags and Bilo's indifference to him, has been excellent overall in European games) and Gomez, then I think that could be the difference over the tie as City will exploit that well. I thought it was 60-40 in favour of them, I'm veering towards 65/35 now. We are at our best as underdogs, especially in Europe, and come game time I'll be up for it and I'm sure everyone will; but it will be a tough ask to do them over two legs. However having the first game at Anfield could help us, and I'm hoping we can put in a similar performance to the league game and see where it takes us. We'll have to be absolutely perfect though, no mistakes.

Can also see us scoring a few early on too. We did put four past them in the league game. It is how we defend though, thats key here. If everyone is on it, we have a hell of a chance. If not, they could win by two or three goals over the course of the tie.

Would Liverpool have been within their rights to tell City to fuck off and train somewhere else? I mean, besides getting a feel for the surface, the emptiness of the stadium at that time would have made City feel right at home and created a positive feeling about the ground - which is a negative for Liverpool going into the tie.

As much as I do not like Liverpool, and it is quite considerable, there is absolutely no contest between them and the human rights abusers propaghanda machine. I hope they slaughter them even if Liverpool go on to win it.

I honestly have no idea how any neutral could support the likes of City and PSG over any legitimate football club.

Quite incredible just how far ahead of the rest of this generations footaballers Ronaldo is. Ultimate big game player.

Still dont think he can hold a candle to Messi no matter how good he is or how much I like him. I kinda feel its similar to Nadal and Federer in that there are some stats to make the power players look better and yes you can make an argument but just watch them play the game and if you dont come to the conclusion that Federer and Messi are the goats you dont have a soul.
