Hand? Did you watch a different game? It bounced off his shoulder and into the net. Don't know why you bothered watching the whole game tbh.

You should get down the opticians mate;

it quite clearly hit his hand, not a single replay even suggests it hit his shoulder.

He headed it into his hand which meant it beat Buffon and went in.

I'll have to watch it again then. Thought it just hit his shoulder.

Edit : Yeah, the first replay shows he clearly used his hand. The second replay from the other angle makes it just look like it hit his shoulder.

That's the only one I could find atm mate, it did significantly change the trajectory of the initial header though imo.

In real time it didn't look like there was contact with his arm. The first replay clearly showed there was and the last replay didn't show it clearly. I must have been doing something else when the first replay was being shown. My lad kept nattering to me throughout the game is why I might have missed it.

Iniesta once again steps up in a big game, apart from him nobody else really stood out. Best big game player in the world.

Pogba was good in parts, and the front 2 for Juve as well. Fuck knows why he took Morata off when chasing it with 5 mins left, mental decision. Pirlo looked his age, as he did in the SF against Real.

Definitely thought that Morata looked a quality player today, as well as the semi final. Can only see him getting better with more game time.

Fucking happy if you had 3-1 though eh!

I had 3-1 but Morata to score first :(

Thought Barca were excellent. Buffon kept Juve in it in the first 50 minutes or so with some excellent stops - the one handed saves to keep out Alves and Suarez were superb I thought. Messi was not up to his spectacular self but still had moments of outstanding quality - the quick interchanges with Suarez and Neymar before Leo blazed over was a lovely move.

Deserved win.

Madrid should not have sold him, I really thought he could have been another Raul for them and I think he feels genuinely hurt by them for the way they spat him out like that after he did nothing wrong. Mind you how many players have they did that to over the years.

Remember when Suarez didn't show up in big games? Fun times.

Yeah Dessy is very quiet about him these days isn't he... ;)

I thought Neymar outshone Suarez and Messi tonight actually. Messi's pass in the build up to the first goal was brilliant but aside from that he didn't live up to his own high standards, Suarez's goal was a tap in and he hardly lit up the place either.

Neymar did outshine both. But I thought Messi and Suarez played just as good.
Suarez's seemingly quiet performance could be down to that he was used more centrally, where there was no space as Juve defended deep. But he stilled managed to score one.
Messi was not as inflential as usual. But I blame this on the ref. He was kicked about 10 times as soon as he got the ball. Both Vidal and Pogba could have been sent off.

Messi did ok, played a part in Barca's first two goals but otherwise he was very tightly marked.

This barca is not all about Messi, he's their main man but the supporting cast has been excellent all season long.

Not having Pogba yet.

Is there a better fullback/winger partnership in football than Jordi Alba and Neymar? Feel for anyone defending against that.

Neymar was bang average in the game I thought. Had one chance in the first half to play Messi in and Messi to score, fucked it up, I know it was one moment but its symptomatic for his whole game. Neymar is behind Messi, obviously, but also Suarez. I really dislike the prick, he's just not got the vision of Suarez.

Messi was boss. Pinging balls over the pitch for the first half an hour, he dropped into a proper winger position and still hit every pass on note.

I think Neymar and Messi both make look Suarez look average, in the same way the latter made Alexis Sanchez look not all that too.

Ren, you've got good opinions on most things but I simply do not see how people can say Neymar has the possibility to be as good as Messi. Ronaldo, I can sort of get, I don't think so because Ronaldo is physically so much stronger in all aspects, but in terms of football ability then Neymar is already as good but can be better than Messi? Ridiculous, Suarez is a superior player.

I agree with that...

I was baffled by the opinion above that Neymar makes Suarez look average. Suarez is a far better player than Neymar at the moment. I do think Neymar has the potential to be the best player in the world some day, but he isn't ever going to be in the same stratosphere as Messi. No one I've ever seen even comes close to Messi. He could reach Ronaldo's heights one day, maybe.

In terms of players right now in the world there are distinct tiers for me:

Messi

Ronaldo

Suarez

Everyone else.
