23rd in the league, a zillion losses on the bounce with no chance of survival and £32.50 a ticket. I honestly can't believe we've taken that many, I was expecting around 90-100. Poor buggers.
I noticed Bogle was not in your squad for tonight, is he out of favour already or is he injured?

703 Norwich, fair play to all of them, you'd have to pay me to go down there midweek for a televised game, especially when they're all pissed off at the moment.

Just over 600 sold for Leeds, not surprised its so low with the outrage from our fans about their ticket prices.

Think we only took just under 900 last season too.

Regardless of price I'd have expected a few more given your form and play off hopes.

Nah, i'm free on Saturday and like my trips to Leeds but i'm not paying that, don't think anyone I know is going.

Not really bothered about the money itself as the train is fairly cheap so works out the same as going to Villa or Newcastle, but Leeds/ Cellino can get fucked for taking the piss.

The thing that pisses me off most about Leeds isn't the ticket cost it's the £5 increase on the day to 42 quid.

That's shit. Leeds is a couple of hours away from Preston, it would cost you much less to go to Leeds than it would somewhere like Fulham where you had nearly 3k, regardless of a few extra quid on the match ticket. I thought you'd be close to selling it out.

Why would we be close to selling out at a club which is trying to fleece fans?

Personally I would have liked PNE to send back the tickets and we took zero fans.

Opens the door for every club in this league to charge £40 a ticket.

Anyone going to Elland Road on Saturday is an absolute mug.

Because it's a massive game, you're chasing the POs and it would cost you far less to do Leeds away than any southern away day if you factor everything in.

It doesn't at all, that's just a daft comment. Whether or not Preston sell many tickets at Leeds won't raise any eyebrows at any other clubs looking to bump up their ticket prices; a few clubs have sold out at Leeds this season for big games, you just bite the bullet and pay the extra few quid.

If I was a Preston fan I'd be there for such a big game, are you not excited about how well you're doing?

Not a great outlook that I'm afraid my mate.

One day, when you're older, got bills to pay, a family etc and not the disposable income of an 18yr old football fanatic.....You'll understand and have a different approach to people trying to fleece you.

I totally empathise with anyone refusing to go on the basis of the ticket price alone, it's not about the overall cost of the day, it's the feeling of being taken for an absolute mug.

If Villa were to charge us £40 (they're not it's just an example) and say, Brighton were to charge us £25. I could get to Villa park for a fiver, totalling £45. It'd probably cost me £50 on the train to Brighton, totalling £75. It still wouldn't be a question, I'd be at the Brighton game every time.

Agreed, shite view to have, I wouldn't be going. Pretty sure JJH's copied that opinion word for word from what Walkley has said in the past in all

Yeah I totally appreciate that plenty of other things come first before football, but why would you not choose to go to Leeds but pay more for a southern game? Just can't get my head around it, if it's costing you less and it's more local.

It's not really, and you probably would go. I haven't, but he's right, it's costing you less in the grand scheme of things as a day out.
