Championship Player of the Season

Shortlist has been announced - Ross McCormack, Andre Gray and Alan Judge are the three nominees.

Judgey fully deserves that, been an absolute shining light in a terrible season, we'd be as bad as Bolton without him.

Hopefully he wins it to at least part make up for the terrible injury he has. I'd love to get him down to a new contract but given he won't pass any sort of medical this summer I worry we're going to end up losing him on a free in 12 months time.

Andre deserves his place on this list, shame we couldn't have kept such an awesome squad together, but hey ho!

McCormack, while great, is the one who I'd question on this list, there've been some really standout performances over the whole season from other players who might deserve it more.

In something of a surprising decision I'll go with Andre Gray.

I agree with most people on this thread, it has to be Andre Gray. 23 goals and 8 assists, that's bloody superb.

Based on their performances against Reading, has to be McCormack. Think he played apart in all four goals they scored against us at Craven Cottage. Whenever i've seen him elsewhere this season he seems to be the guy who holds that Fulham team together. No doubts to me they would have been relegated without him.

Gray on the other hand (from his performances against us) would be far more likely to be in the 3 worst Championship players of the season. Second year in a row he has finished as one of the top scorers yet done bugger all against us except miss chance after chance.

14 goals and the most assists in the league is much more impressive IMO, especially when not playing for a top side and playing in midfield.

The fact leadbitter is above Clayton renders that list a complete joke. Clayton is roughly 4 times better than leadbitter.

It's voted for by managers, has nothing to do with the football league...
