I posted that very smiley in the TFF mod cafe years ago along with various other smileys asking if they could be added. Despite many mods agreeing that they would like them added, the admin never did or even respond to the thread.

We were promised things would be different here, but I guess nothing CORRUPTS quite like power.

I asked TB whether he could add the Heskey smiley, not sure whether he got round to it, but it's been his birthday in the last couple of days so I'm sure he will get round to it next. Could a football trivia question be added to the sign up process? I think that would help with the spam as I think the spambots have found ways of getting around the captcha.

Suggested a possible post limitation before starting threads to reduce spam, as well as other methods such as sign up verification etc.

SPAM submissions should now be significantly reduced... enabled several additional Xenforo features.

One of the techniques we're using is sending posts by brand new members into a moderation queue if their post contains a particular word or phrase. Posts by new members which do not contain any of the stated phrases will post immediately as normal.

As a result, if you've noticed the spam posts recently often stating a particular term (p0rn,magic,movies,buy nike shoes) - please let us know and we'll add these terms into the filter for new members.

I've just purchased an addon which will stop new members being able to post any links (of any kind), until they have made a certain number of posts, for example 10. If they try to do so, they'll be greeted with an error message stating as much and the post will fail.

I'll get this installed tonight.

Can we stop the automatic go to the bottom of the SB when a new shout has been posted? Gets annoying when you're trying to catch up.
