Well this is not very good.

Ref has been poor, soft penalty, Bristol City are a horrible side.

Ultimately though, we are a truly horrendous football team. Last week was supposed to be a turning point but all it really highlighted was how utterly shit Rotherham are.

Really scrappy this. I'll give it to Pemberton - we're a tough nut to crack since he's taken over.

Winning dirty so far, there's another goal in this game. Another terrible referee.

Important not to touch their players in the box then.

Will write my thoughts on the game when I get back into the train and can charge my phone - battery is all but dead.

Other than that I thought the penalty was quite soft, no complaints.

Wasn't a pretty game at all, two poor sides but one of them actually had a game plan and pulled it off.

Bottom of the pile now, am I allowed to be pessimistic yet Lamby?

3 points clear! Massive afternoon.

Thank you Pemberton for 7 points in 4 games. 1-0, 0-1, 0-0, 1-0. Binary.
Johnson's task is clear, get more goals from the team. Bryan in for Freeman will help.

Fairly happy with the Johnson appointment, but Pembo should've been given the season to shithouse us to safety. Cracking result again that, great day.

Very scrappy as I said. Two poor sides lacking in attacking quality, but since Cotterill's gone we've found ways of nullifying opposition attacks and O'Donnell didn't really have a thing to do.

Penalty was dodgy, but then I thought we should have had another penalty when Bobby Reid got flattened in the box, so it evened itself out.

Good to see us playing dirty away from home, very synical, a lot of gamesmanship etc - it's tactical, and we haven't done that enough for a few years. Most teams do it when they come to AG - if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

I've been to 5 away games this season, we've kept clean sheets in 4. Like I said, Pemberton has made us a tough nut to crack and we look a lot more solid defensively in a back 4. Pemberton staying is a good thing as well, he'll be a good assistance to Johnson who I'm very sceptical about.

Great day, onto the next one.

Special mention to Scott Wagstaff, having pictures taken with Charlton fans in a black and white scarf (part of the protests if you don't understand the reference)

Top bloke who knows what the club means to its fans, happy to see Bristol City stay up just for him. God knows how we could do with players who put as much effort in as he did now.

No, you can't. We have to leave this down to Fanni now.

What an amazing dive for the penalty, he went down like a Shark had bitten his legs off.

Think he did buy it, to be fair. The sign of an experienced player, like when a defender knows to go down and get a FK after making a mistake. We've barely had a penalty all season, I think we've only had two and they've both been against you!

Watched the highlights on the Sky site and the push on Reid looked a cert penalty in a similar position. We're owed a bi of fortune, as there's been plenty of times we've not been given one this year.

There's no pointing whinging about the penalty decision.

We're just not good enough. We 70 minutes to turn it around or at least level it and we couldn't.

We haven't been awarded a penalty all season thinking about it.

He bought it. Your player was stupid to put his hand on his back.

Reid's got flattened for a certain penalty as well which didn't get given for whatever reason.

LEE JOHNSONS CIDER ARMY :sb:

In all seriousness what a cracking result and what a cracking job Pemberton and Elliot have done. We look a completely different side since the sacking of SC. Defensively the difference is ridiculous. The four games we've played and O'Donnell has barely had a save to make.

On to Ipswich and hopefully another three points.
