August doesn't get any easier, does it?

Was confident of three points but there are whispers that Tony Watt isn't going to be fit which will be a big loss for us.

We've started well and have looked good in all three games so I don't feel there is much to fear from Hull, will be a difficult game though.

Even without Watt, with a good team selection we are still more than capable of winning, I would expect young Ahearne-Grant to come in as a straight swap.

Hull's previous two visits to The Valley have been pretty dour but feel this could be a good one.

2-2.

Get in there.

Would have been criminal if Hull had gone home with anything, we were the better team for probably 95 mins of the 100.

I can't believe we are unbeaten and on 8 points from the games we've had to play, maybe we can push for the play-offs this year especially when we were missing 3 first teamers today and had a bench full of kids, 2 of which had to come on after more injuries!

My only concern so far, injuries. That's 5 already and you can see by looking at our subs bench we haven't got the depth required.

Will enjoy tonight and no matter what happens at Wolves next week, it's been a brilliant month for us.

Just a quick word on Hull, they will need to improve hugely if they have any hope of going straight back up.

I haven't seen it but most Hull fans seem to agree that Charlton would have been hard done by to only get a point. Still gutting to concede after scoring so late on. We've shown signs of a quality side but everything seems very lethargic, as if we expect to be top 6 just on the basis of our squad, an attitude that could easily see us finish bottom half, never mind play-offs. I think we will be ok, the transfer window shutting will benefit us as it's just constant speculation about where 5-6 of our starting line up are going at the moment.

Didn't Charlton start we'll say year as well? Could be a surprise team but it's a long season

I can't say whether you will or won't be up there at the end as I've only seen you over 90 minutes but Hull looked like a bang average Championship side today, or probably even below average, if we had taken more of our chances we could have put the game to bed.

It's not often I can say this about a Charlton side but we were faster, hungrier, more committed and just better in possession.

We did, went the first 12 games unbeaten.

Hopefully we can keep it up this season, I feel more confident, I think we have a better group of players and a very competent manager. As I said above though, the lack of depth is my only concern especially as we've picked up so many injuries already. Hopefully we can get through the Wolves game unscathed and get some players back over the international break.

People carry on underestimating Charlton at their peril. Will get another 3 points against us next week.

While I'm not getting carried away and have severe doubts about our ability to trouble the top 6 come May I have to say, having us as second favourites to be relegated was/is just pure laziness from the bookmakers.
